Just a quick question -

Why do they send the train empty? Is it just to let it dry out or for some less obvious reason?

I've never thrown up on a ride, but I've seen a kid throw up all over himself on Whizzer, and I saw some lady throw up on Tomahawk (like Revolution at our park) at SFNE. Plus, although I wasn't there, my friend once threw up on Spacely's.

4. Jostle off remaining illness.
3. Dry the train.
2. No one wants to ride the offending train.
1. Because that's just the way it's been done.

/\ You did not get the reason, they send the train empty because they need to get the people off of the ride from the other train(s). The park does not want to leave the riders stranded thinking that they are stuck while the employees are cleaning up the mess.

I was one train away from being barfed on. It was the raging bull, and I did not see how that was possible. I mean its an easy take on ride. Its to smooth to puke on. I can see american eagle, and demon. I did almost vomit after a cold carnival after the Zipper. But I only puke when I am food poisined, and when I have the flu.

I myself puked i think four times after Chubasco once, but that is my only time ever getting sick on a ride. However, i have walked around puke on the exit ramp for Raging Bull and I have hopped over it on Iron Wolf once.

Whizzer is the best roller coaster in MY WORLD!

Ive came close to puking numerous times at Sfgam, some of the rides that get me are

East River Crawler
American Eagle
and Raging Bull(only once because I was headbanging with my eyes closed going up the lift and didnt realise we were at the top so the drop and my head reacted weird and made me gag.)

For the people who don't understand why people get sick on the Raging Bull, I'll give my thoughts on that. I don't ride RB that often because it makes me nauseuos every time (no puking though). I think this is because RB is a relatively long ride with a lot of little drops that makes my stomach drop over and over. I think it's these drops that make me nauseous and others sick. One or two big drops are great, but I just can't handle a bunch of them, so maybe that's why other people get sick off of it.

I'm usually ok on Viper for the most part, but every once in a while Viper and Eagle can get to me if I've ridden too many rides before that. Also I have issues with V2 sometimes. Usually for the most part I'm ok mostly in thanks to motion sickness pills like Dramamine or Bonine. It sucks because I used to be able to ride everything a million times without any queasiness, but oh well, the Dramamine works well enough for now.

My wife's first ride ever on Ragin Cajun. She got off, felt a little quezzy, looked at me and said "I am going to puke.". She then promptly headed to the first place she could find so nobody would see her, and it wouldn't be all over the pavement, and she recycled the Olive Garden salad she had nearly 3 hours before.
If it walks like socialist, quacks like socialist, smells like a socialist, .... it's a socialist. Hope, and change we can believe in.

For me, if I just sit there and do nothing on RB then it can be a LITTLE stomach pulling. But if you yell and have fun and put your hands up it suprisingly helps!

I have never puked on a ride. But I was on Superman once where someone puked the row in front of me at the holding block at the end of the ride. I almost lost it then. It smelled so bad. They pulled out a hose to clean it up. I have also notice that on Rev a lot of people puke on that ride. I have seen them pull out the hose a few times on that one.
