What Do You Want To See at GAm in the next years!!!

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Six Flags needs to add and not tear down. Keep the thrills they have while improving their coaster count. They feel the need to get rid of rides to get new stuff. Well some of us enjoy the old rides. I think a little part of all of us misses Shockwave it we admit it or not, even if it is just the visual aspect.

Like I said in another post, Great America doesn't have unlimited room to build. They can't always just add a coaster. Sometimes they have to take one out, so that they have room for a new one.

This may sound very unrealistic, and I think it is, but I hope GAm gets Medusa. X would also be great to have.

I don't think it was a joke, I was being totally serious. Oh, they didn't tell you? You were supposed to get a memo about it. Don't worry about it.

Ok, I never put my two cents in about this old topic...so time to do some ressurecting.

I obviously don't want to see any coasters go in our park. I would really like to see a B&M sitter or a B&M floorless (who wouldn't?). A giga coaster would be really sweet but I really don't see that one happening.

Ever sense I made a recreation of shockwave as a B&M type sitting coaster on RCT2, I've always thought it would be really neat if we did that.

Yea that might be cool but Great America or any other park that had shockwave most definity wouldnt recreate their old ride. They would keep it. As for a giga coaster we have raging bull which is an excellent hyper-twister. I would like to see either a floorless. or a Intamin launched with inversions.

I would like to see a Chance Chaos coming to the park soon. The park has room for it in SWT, near the Cool Zone and Demon. It could be named Twister. It would fit the SWT theme well...I think.

Egads!! anything but a Chaos, thing is an electrictal nightmare, DV needs all the maintenaince people it can get :)

Honestly I'd like to see more Euro Flat rides at SFGAm, Mondial Top Scan or Shake, Zierer Star Shape, Huss Giant Anything, stuff along those lines, they dont take up much room and can be quite fun :)

Also I'll take any coaster we can get, without removing anything else. It's to bad we have a Height limit of around 360 feet (actually it's much lower, but that's how tall Sky Trek is with the flag pole), we could always use a Giga Coaster :)

And for those saying we are running out of room, go to Indiana Beach, or better yet Blackpool Pleasure Beach, the pleasure beach is about 1/3 the size of SFGAm and has 10 coasters, 5 of those being woodies, and far more flats than SFGAm will ever see. Where there is a will there is a way (there's also airspace) :)
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder
Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping
Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073

I think SFGAm could get around that if they wanted. 8) (yes I do mean Legally. ;) )
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

I think SFGAm SHOULD keep American Eagle, but should close American Eagle for magor rehab. You can even see where the wood is all cracked. It would make American Eagle much more safe.
It's green. It's blue. It's all over you! Enjoy your ride on Déjà Vu

If the ride runs 5 times in a row without screwing up, thats OK by my standards.

(Unless that perticular ride's name is Deja Vu)

Wood bends, torques, and gives. That is why a wooden rollercoaster isn't built like a steel rollercoaster with just one board holding up a track section. Every day the entire track of each wooden coaster is walked and parts gagued to ensure that all is fine. I'm sure that if a board was broken that maintnence would fix it that morning/day. Even so, 1 broken board isn't going to cause the coaster to collapse.

The only ride i'd like to see is something like a southwest themed ride like Delerium at Great America. Other than that I dont think theres anything that I can think of i'd like to see there. It's a lot like Revy so it's unlikely but apparently better.

I would like to see another coaster like Raging Bull. Well atleast one that is steel and does not loop and you can get alot off good air time.

See I think we've got a lot of good airtime coasters. After we lost shockwave we havn't had a real big inverter (basically just batman and demon dragging us along). I'd like to see that

And Iron Wolf and DeJaVu and Superman. Great America has a good selection of rides if you want to go upside down, or if you don't want to go upside down (Like a few of my friends).
