Repaint Iron Wolf

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Use this site to find complimenting colours. A lot of rides follow these schemes because they look pleasing and are easy on the eyes (yes, uncomplimentary colours are in fact hard on the eyes whether you know it or not).

V2 uses Blue and Yellow. They are opposite eachother on the colour wheel. That makes it easier to look at. Raging Bull uses Yellow, Teal, and Red trains. All related on the triangle wheel.

Parks use professional themes and they know what looks good and not.

The Iron Wolf is fine. But if they do choose to do another paint job they should take a survey so they wont have a lot of complaints like on Batman.

I found that link in an OLD post by T_BIGGS a while back. It was very good for making RCT and NL colour schemes so I bookmarked it. I'm glad I did because it is good for making webpages and such.

If parks know what looks good or not, then explain to me the color choice for Top Thrill Dragster?! Those colors are horrible! They hurt my eyes and look unpleasing.

TTD is following a race theme. The barriers and rumble stips on most race courses are red and white.

And your trying to tell me thar parks don't put thought into colour schemes?

Three yellow rides in one area didn't make too much sense.

Here's what I think:

Whizzer: Red (Wasn't it this way along time ago?)
Demon: Same supports, black track with red rails.
Viper: Same
Bull: I like how it is now but I think it would also look nice as black supports and red track, like Chicago Bulls colors
Drop: Same
DV: Same colors, they need to repaint the supports!
Eagle: Same
IW: Same supports, silver track
V2: Same, or blue supports, red track
Batman: Same track, black supports instead of this "Batman Blue" or whatever it's called
RC: Same
Superman: Same

This is just what I think

Batman Blue was the old "black" color (it was never actually black, just Batman Blue with unpainted rails)

^ Then I mean the old color on the supports instead of the new purplish bluish color.

It's not the colors that make it look rusty, when the ride opened it looked VERY nice (for some reason I always thaught those colors would fit better in Yukon, but whatever floats the boat). I personally think it should be painted light blue with silver rails and black supports, who knows maybe even silver ties to (although that would get annoying to look at while on the ride, lol). Also repaint the queue rails light blue to fit the ride, also have the staircase wider to accomadate a first row line along with FL, even when theres a long line the back is always almost empty or 2 people in line because people block the front, if people arn't waiting for front at least move into the line for back and fill accordingly (but of course people can't do anything competent). FIX IT!
All these little things that make the experience so much better...

Hey I got an idea. Lets not waste the money to repaint Iron Wolf. Let's just take it down and put a real ride there.

I myself think it is way too rough, everytime I get off the ride I have a tremendous headache. I know a lot of you like the ride and I'm not trying to start a fight. I'm just saying that I personally dont like the ride.
