Not to be rude (long time lurker, first time poster)...
Does anyone have any pictures of this thing with a decent white-balance setting and proper exposure? These pictures are pretty bad...must have been a Sony Digital (the company that has never made a real camera ever, but tries to make digital cameras).
I am not going to be able to get to the park before July 10th and will be unable to get a good shot of the bus on my own.

Thanks...still not very good. Maybe I will have to make a special trip just to take a picture (season pass parking will get me in free just to take the picture, then I can leave).
Actually looks like the "not so good" pics were taken using a flash. Not a good idea When you are 40 feet from the subject the built in flash is useless...also the Camera was in "auto" exposure with the flash (which was flashing way out of its distance range). That resulted in a exposure time assumption of 1/60 (because of the flash) and a whitebalance assuming a flash within the flashes range. The results: A underexposed shot, with yellow coloring because of the lack of fill flash.
...and to correct my earlier post...it appears that camera used was a Fuji Finpix A200.

Whoa. Aren't you just a photography expert.... or not. "not properly exposed"? What? They were taken in what appears to be very late afternoon sunlight! And, thus, look that way!
No way his flash should be going off, if it was (and the soft focus is questionable), but the pictures do not suffer from a poor exposure length; most certainly not poor "white-balance setting." White balance is a purely digital processing of numbers, has nothing to do with photography, and is relevant in presentation of that which has been photographed.
However, the pictures on nolanscoasterpictures were not properly exposed, given the obvious need for a tripod.
This is the last time I will be replying about problems with PICs...it has nothing to do with the topic at hand...I just wanted to see if someone had a good pic of the bus.
Anyway....
YES...they were not properly exposed...he was running at ISO100. ISO400 would have been better at sunset. Also according to the EXIF data the camera did fire the flash, which set the exposure time to 1/60. So ISO100 @ 1/60 in low light (with a flash that is good for 15 feet aimed at a subjust 40+ feet away) does equal poor exposer. Not enough light was allow to hit the CCD with the settings that the camara used. Just the fact that the flash was on and set the 1/60 exposure time because the camera was in AUTO. If the flash was off the exposure time would have slowed way down, and would have either bumped the ISO (if AUTO mode is that smart on this camera), or causes a major blur in the image because of hand shake.
Yes, I know what white-balances is. If you did you would also know that when using a custom white balance setting in the conditions that were present at the time the photo was taken, it could make it look less yellow.
Just a guess...but had I been taking the shot I would have used the following settings on my camera:
Flash:nope
Exposure Time: 1/500 Sec
Aperture: f/8
ISO400 (maybe 200)
White Balance: -1 or -2
As for nolans pics...there is NO NEED FOR A TRIPOD! The camera was again not set correctly for the conditions at hand.

Okay, it's a picture of the Six Flags bus, if you want a properly exposed one go take it don't tell other people to do your chores because i'm sure a lot of them have no idea what your talking about.
