Six Flags is not above the law though, Imnot sure there is anything they can do short of hiring a doctor to examine everyone that wants a exit pass, which isnt really cost effective, and probably goes against some kind of law
Go to Guest Relations, plead your case with minimum effort, and I guarentee they will give you an exit pass. SFGAm is stupid this way. The interesting thing that everyone has failed to mention is the difference between exit pass and handicapped pass. The exit pass is easy to get, but the handicapped pass is the real deal for people with mental disabilties and in wheelchairs. Like Superman was with FastLane last year, I personally don't think exit passes should be accepted on RC and I think SFGAm should be getting that ride to 9 car operation soon, or the guests will be none too happy. At the very least, put in some covers for shade!
The Exit Pass isn't what Mike was complaining about, if you get stuck on a ride for awhile I think you deserve to be able to go up the exit of the same attraction or another attraction and get a ride on it without waiting to make up for the inconvience.
The Handicap Pass is what Mike was refering to. My only problem with the handicap pass is that they don't have to wait like the rest of the people so people purposely take advantage of them. The only way I see to fix this is by making the handicap people wait the amount of time that the line is.
My Idea's : For single handicap riders, they could get on the next available train that is going to have a empty seat. Since empty seats are sent all the time.
With 2 or more people they should let a member of the group they are with wait through the line. When that group member get's to the front, the handicap person can get on with them.
This policy would probably work best with groups of 4 so 1 person can stay with the handicap person and somebody can be with the person waiting in line.
Woah. Danhockey04-Six Flags cannot ask for a docters note under the American's With Disablilites Act, violating that would be against the law. So please, stop suggesting that Six Flags requires doctor's notes.
I still honestly don't see how this is such a big problem. I've never really been annoyed about having to wait for a disabled person to ride in my row. It's only 1 train.
About splitting up parties, how would you like it if your family went to six flags and you were forced to split into two parties every time you wanted to ride a rollercoaster. It wouldnt be very much fun.

Cajun only seats 4 in each car, and when there's constantly handicap people in groups of 4 coming up the exit and they are getting on almost every other car that goes out of the station then it becomes a problem.
When more handicap people are walking on to the ride then there are guests who have been waiting for a hour getting on the ride, it can start to annoy even the most patient of people.
As Dave stated, it's strictly referring to RC. All the other coasters in the park aren't a problem when groups of 4 use a handicap pass.
RC needs to have only one other person accompany the disabled guest. If a group of 4 have a problem with that, then 2 out of the group need to get in line and wait. The disabled person and 1 other can wait at the exit until the rest of their group go through the normal line so they can ride together.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
I still think they should keep it 3+ the handicap person. Demon, Viper, Cajun, and Eagle are the only 3 coasters on the top of my mind that don't have 4 across seating, but sit in a train in however many rows of 2.
Think about it: If there was just a handicap person and 1 other with him/her, you people would complain that they are not filling up the whole row on a 4 across train. From what I hear, Cajun is already a slow paced coaster because of the limited # of trains used. It will go even slower when there are two people not filling up enough seats on that coaster.
I think there should be a host form Guest Relations who walks around the park to kinda check up on the disabled guests and if the host sees the guest is abusing the pass(teenagers switching spots in wheelchairs), they should revoke it.

It dosent bug me when it's an older person (late 20's-30's) with the pass but when I see soem teenagers with it, it just makes me sick to know what they are doing. The RC pass problem needs to be fixed efectivley and fast.
I know that there is another topic on handicap (exit) passes, but since this one seems to be more about abuses of the system, I thought I would share from my recent trip to SFSTL.
While waiting to board The Boss, a lady holding a collapsed red and white cane claimed to be blind and wanted on from the exit. She had 9 other people in her party all blocking the exit and all wanting to board with her.
This group caused such a commotion that the lead ride op gave in and allowed all of them to board 10 people total. They had 6-7 giant stuffed animals that they piled on the platform before loading, and they thought it was cute to taunt other people waiting at the exit. By the time all off this junk got settled down and boarded the other two trains had piled up in the blocks( Boss was in 3 train op). Prior to this incident the crew had not allowed the trains to stack in the time I had spent at the que house. I was on the next train after them.
When my train came back into station after a delay caused by guess who in the train ahead of us, I exited. On the way down the exit a couple of girls damn near ran me over trying to get to the end of the ramp. When I got tho the end of the ramp they were there crying. One of the girls had a purse had been stolen from the platform. I told security what had happened and about the group who had piled so much stuff on the platform. Since no one saw who took it, the guards couldn't do a thing.
After the park closed, me and a friend went to the gas station across from the park. We saw the group who had caused the problem and saw the lady who claimed to be blind. Not only did she not have her cane, but she was horsing around, hitting at, and running after other members of the group. Can I prove they took the purse - NO, but I do know a scam when I see one.
EDIT: Full TR to come in next few days
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
I have never been to SFGAm (yet), but I know exactly how you guys feel about the exit pass system being abused. I think all parks should do what I saw SFMM doing on my last trip. When someone walked up the exit to use the handicapped pass, they would have to wait the same amount of time that the people in the normal line did. Instead of waiting IN the line, they would sit on a bench inside the station. When that time was up, they could board the ride. It would really prevent people from abusing the handicapped passes.
SfGam wouldn't be able to do that because they would have to stick like 20 benches in the station to accomodate about 15 groups of fakers and 5 of disabled guests.(end sarcasm) Cedar Point has almost the same as SfMM but instead makes the guests wait outside the exit.
