Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

^ They could do something with the stage and projections during the pre show, and then have the parade.

I'm hoping they do the wristband thing again for the haunted houses. Has anyone heard if they are doing that again this year and how much it's going to cost?

I called earlier this week and they said that they will not know anything until the second week of September. I hope they are reasonable last year just for one member of my party to just ride the train it was 19.99. They also had a FP type band fo 59.99 that got you in faster but that was a ridiculous price. I am hoping FF will be good and things will get better so I can go. Time will tell got about 5 weeks to get everything together.

The sign also shows that Deadline won't be coming back, which hopefully means they plan to be working on the 2014 coaster then. No big loss, but it was fun to walk through once.

Its a shame I really liked deadline a member of my party walked through a haunted attraction for the first time and got the shit scared outta her it WAS HILARIOUS. I agree and think FC could have been in the wilderness ampitheater and maybe even had some monsters dancing instead of those horrible dancing girls. Ive seen ants dance better on hot concrete. Anyone else make Halloween mixes to listen to on your way to the car I have made some really good ones and would love suggestions for more songs (yes i have the classic themes Halloween. Nightmare on Elm Street etc).

To anyone who is wondering (and the best of my knowledge). The 2 haunted houses in Hurricane Harbor will be in the following locations. One of them will be inside of Hurricane Hanks (the little shop they have in the harbor) and the other will be in the overhang of the pink flamingo (Where they serve the food) With the Pink Flamingo one, it leads me to wonder if they will be taking out the queue line for it, or incorporate them in the haunt.
When you get to the top, and you hear that click, you better hang on, because your coming down quick!

Doesn't sound great from what I remember Hurricane Hanks is quite small and the Pink Flamingo is also pretty tiny. I think they would do better to have it in the lazy river, and dare I say skull island? I hope it will be worth the 19.99 or whatever we will be paying this year.

I hope they change the theme of Wicked Woods because the idea was genius but I didn't think it was scary. It would be perfect if they themed it a graveyard and have the tunnel be a crypt of some sort. Also, I'm wondering how the haunted houses in Hurricane Harbor will be. How does one have a haunted house based on the Bermuda Triangle?

My guess is that the park wants to contain HH to only the parts they need to utilize and not have people wandering aimlessly through areas that have already been closed up for the season.

If the park is adding additional haunts, it wouldn't surprise me if they increase the price of the wristband. I don't see them getting rid of the wristband POP idea for their houses. I bet it was certainly easier than selling individual tickets. The thought is that most people are going to visit and partake in as many of the haunts as possible.

However, they have to do something other than the scanning of the receipt thing. Some houses scanned it last year, others didn't. When it rained, it was pretty useless. Seemed to be very inconsistent.

change the color of the wristbands like on the cups it is faster and easier. The wristband and recipt are bad ideas because if you loose the recipt youre screwed. and foget pay 2 cut for the haunts wait like everyone else. The park is turning into the Titanic, if you have more money youre better than someone else.

^So you're saying that someone who wants a cheap trip to the park for a few haunted house should pay just as much as someone who's willing to pay more money for a better experience? That doesn't make very much sense to me.

Yes, welcome to how the world works. If you pay more, you get more.

Besides, the haunt flash pass barely made any impact on the lines. When I went through all the haunts we got skipped in line a grand total of once, which is nothing to complain about.

I had a feeling we'd be getting Total Darkness, a lot of other parks are as well. I'm guessing it will be similar to the Blackout maze Magic Mountain had last year, which good got reviews. I'm guessing The Uprising will be a new show/parade to bring out the scare actors.

Info on Bermuda Triangle and the new mazes:

You can cross into our free Bermuda Triangle scare zone, but don’t expect this perilous journey to be easy. You’ll meet zombie captains, vengeful pilots, and other grave spirits that are hoping to suck you in to their suffering. You may also bump into a few human-eating mythical creatures lurking in the darkness, including sea monsters, killer sirens, and merciless aliens. Try not to scream too loudly when these terrifying characters jump out in front of you to trap you in the Triangle, or sneak up behind you trying to escape the powerful dark hole.

Bermuda Triangle will also feature two new teeth-chattering hauntedwalk-throughs, for an additional fee. Abyss challenges you to face your worst fears as you encounter all the souls who have disappeared on their journey through the Bermuda Triangle. Make your way through this Atlantic-themed walk-through and try to avoid all the angry victims who have been lost before you.

Total Darkness is an all-new blackout maze that tests your fear of the unknown. Wander to the deepest part of the Bermuda Triangle, where you’ll be left in pitch blackness and unaware of the spirits around you. You’ll have to rely on your sense of touch and hearing to navigate your way out of the dark maze, bumping into dead ends, blocked hallways, and confusing corners. You won’t be able to tell what terrifying objects you’re running into, which creepy critters are crawling over you, or what demon is hiding around the next corner waiting to make your screams echo in the darkness.

Not what I am saying at all. I am saying have only 1 haunt pass and have it a reasonable price 19.99 if you are at the park with 4 other people its already 100 just to do the houses not to mention admission parking and food. I mean lets face it I only saw 3 people get the express haunt when I went to FF last year it was a total flop and another needless expense. there is nothing wrong with 19.99 for everyone we all pay the same we all wait the same.

I see what you're saying now, but I still disagree. It costs the park nothing to have some extra wristbands there for the people who want to pay a little extra, and not wait in line. I'm sure they made money on it, because there was no initial cost to the park.

Ok but you have to agree having to present the recipt for each house you visited was a needless hassle. And people were getting mad because they either lost it or someone else fom their party had their recipts and were doing something else. If they are printing the wristbands in the first place then why not simplify everything and just put the barcode on the wristband?
