Just a Thought for 2004...

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

If you're an employee you sure can. I think you can if you have an interview set up, too. Otherwise it's trespassing.

There is a security booth right at the entrance. During the season it's staffed. Most of thet time during the offseason there is nobody there. I don't advise trespassing in there though. If security catches you they WILL call the Gurnee PD and fines will be levied against you. They won't tolerate anything if they catch you.

They would probably ban you for life too, I wouldn't want that to happen.

When we went for pass processing, we drove back there to get some pictures of superman and one of the security guards were watching us from both the employee parking lot and the regular parking lot.

I never tried it my self, but I heard that people have gone down the road next to SUF. If you look there is no sign indicating that you cannot go that way. I heard people go that way to get out of the park during closing time.Carlo

Some folks do go out that way. It leads to the employee parking lot and exits onto Rt. 21 That exit becomes very congested and very dangerous though.

That doesn't mean there taking the ride out. They took ERC apart at the end of last year and it's back. It might just be rehab.

F.Y.I y'all they are putting a new ride in Power Dive's spot next year, I was in line for nachos and I heard a women who worked their who just talked to a mechanic or supervisor. The woman was talking to her freind and she said 'I heard that we are getting a new ride where Powere Dive was', I asked her what ride and she said he didn't tell her.
Its hard to come up with signatures. When I get one it will be right here.

You have a horrible source, lightningserve16. Nachos Woman is notorious for providing false information. You really need to talk to the Lemon Chill Guy. Or at the very least, the Dippin Dots Guy. Honestly, though, the Bavarian Nut Man is the best source, but the bottom of the barral is the Nachos Woman.

LOL Travis your halirous! But really I think that Sno Biz guy should be abvoe Dippin Dots guy but below Lemon Chill guy . Seriously, though I don't think that any odf the are realiable . Ok no more jokes I have to make this worth my time used for typing all this, I think that a new ride in the place of Power Dive's area would be awsome.

They PROBIBLY won't put Triple Play back because there is a hole in the ground under the ride, and East River Crawler never had this when it was being refurbished. Also, there is another ride being removed/was removed right next to it.

The hole has always been there. Many rides don't just sit flush on the ground, they would be too unstable. They often (but not always) have pits to rest in. I think I remember after Big Top was removed, you could see a pit in its spot from Eagle's lift. I never bothered to look if its still there under Dare Devil Dive's platform. Also, on HFM, you can see where part of it is in a hole, where the metal runs from the control box to the ride hub. Although, I know that Scramblers don't need to be in the ground, SFGAm probably just did this so nobody trips on it.Also, was ERC completely gone by the end of last season? I don't know if it was, but it's possible that a part was still in the ground on the last day.

I know it had a pit, but i didn't want to explain too much. Still, the pit wasn't opened up on ERC last year. I allways thought that all the machanical stuff was under the ride in that pit. it's sort of like the pit under Sky Trek Tower.

Was this in English or alien? :shock:Hit the books and learn the English language.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Within the first few posts it was stated that Triple Play is getting rehab, and yet people seem to want to ignore the fact that was stated and act as if it is getting removed. I think some of you need Rehab more then Triple Play because some people here must be on something!
