I can assume that he is a charecter that shows up and tries to scare people at random places at the park. But what all goes on during fright fest? I mean i know that its themed to be all scary, but like Are there any haunted house attractions?(i sound stupid to ask)
Mayor Slayor has been on the front of the frightfest park map at least the last 2 years.
^The park was open on Sunday the weekend of Sept 19th last year, but it is closed for a private event this year. I would assume Sept 25th and 26th are closed for that reason also.
Yes, that is what they do in September is buyouts with major companies. Also, the Friday before FF officially opens is actually a law firm that buys the park out every year it has never been b96. Believe me I'v been there, lol. Also, for everyone asking about Mayor Slayer and any other character from JPM, not one of them will be back. No matter what you think not even Mayor Slayer or the trolls will be there. I am actually surprised they can have Mayor on the billboard but that is because they own the title Mayor Slayer but not the actor itself. JPM owns the actor itself. Also, Trolls are a trademark of JPM and so there will be zero Trolls not even ones done by the park. I am very sad to see all those characters we know and love disappear this year. But I still want to go and see what the park can do by themselves. I know the park did not want to do this event without JPM's help. It was not a park decision it was corporates. Same with the reason FF has gotten smaller every year is because the park was telling JPM exactly what they could and could not have.
However, anyone interested in seeing the characters you love you can go to the Kemper Center in Kenosha, WI. JPM will be doing a ghost tour up there with all the JPM actors from FF seasons past.
Back to FF this year, I still can't wait to finally see Dead Man's Party because I have yet to see it, and also to see LAFF. And yes whoever stated the seven sins cemetaries all of those will be back Pride, Gluttony, Lust, etc... I know Pride was up almost a month ago to promote FF very early this year. I'm pretty sure they will still have the two haunted houses but will probably change the one in Southwest, since last year they didn't get the rights in time to use the movie characters like they used the previous year. If anyone has questions on FF from previous years or anything related I can answer any questions anyone might have. Hope to see you all there!!!
i hope it's just a bunch of pathetic teens running around the park trying to scare people because there making a big mistake on getting rid of Jpm. they had professional actors. as the years went on they would cut back on stuff then 2009 they made like what is this crap. seriously this is fright fest the main event for six flags that every one goes to the rides are there all year. last year the "Head Honchos" made crap last year ruined 7 sins last year area 51 rise of the demon the haunted houses etc. they got rid of boo line everything that was good.

Hopefully I'm one of the pathetic teens that gets a job there. Don't start college until January and having a hard time finding a job, even temp. I go next week for an interview. They said I would have to do a 60 second skit. Plan on dressing up as something, not sure what yet. Don't know how scary they are looking for, it is a family amusement park. Want to make a character to be for the interview, but haven't thought of one yet.
I hope they have more scareactors out and I would love to see more in Area 51 (if it comes back) this year. It would be nice in Hometown but I know it won't...Im just saying it would look a lot better there. And also I hope they try to give other rides new names instead of the same ones like Whizzer, Eagle, Wolf and a few others. It would be nice to see like SUF or TDK or Bull become something for FF. I don't know what they would be..but have some of the other coasters have new names too.

Have you been to fright fest? haha Cause they try to amp it up to the rest of their abilities to try to scare people. I would say go scary to the best of your ability.

I'm going to make a creepy character and act out the character for the interview. Think it will be more creepy than scary
So for seven sins is it gonna be those pathetic actors like last year or the classic werewolve/vampires and blizzard bay(yankee harbor where the pirates were) are the pirates coming back or not because last year it was absolutly empty.
Anyways TT2 is Chubasco, the teacups ride over by Raging Bull. At fright fest Chubasco gets the walls covered, so that its dark. Its almost like a lazer light show, energetic music plays, lights flash, its pretty insane when your spinning around pretty fast.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2. Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel) @Coaster_Cole on Twitter

Yep.
I'm heading to SFGAm for my first time ever on Sunday, October 3rd. I came here to learn a little more about the park and its features before I make the long journey.
I've always heard it is one of (if not the) best Six Flags parks.
^It definitly is one of the best Six Flags parks out there compared to the others Iv'e been to! I'm glad that it is my home park! You will enjoy you stay at the park!I guarentee it!
Ok. So I went to SFGAM for labor day weekend and there was stuff already set-up in various area of the park. Mostly when you first enter up to Batman. Areas farther away like SW territory weren't even touched yet. They had 2 of the Seven Deadly Sins houses up. The picture banners of the people in costume were up. There was the same advertising for Frightfest with the pictures of the creepy little girls. I am so glad I got to see Mayor Slayor before he left. Last year was my first frightfest and got to see him then. Im also hoping that the free Haunted trail is back this year. I remember the fake port-a-potty that sprayed water at you when you opened it. haha! The haunted trail isn't scary really. I mean its free, so I hate it when people get their hopes up for anything thats free, such as this haunted trail. I mean its free, of course its not gonna be really scary. You get what you pay for! I am really really gonna try to get into one of the haunted houses this year. Its only $20/person if you got a season pass. If not, you gotta pay an additional $20 if you buy a one-day ticket. I wonder which one is scariest to go to. I remember reading or hearing something either here or at the park that one of the houses is age restricted or recommended for people over a certain age. I know its not 18+, but probably more like 14+ or 16+ years old recommended. Guess the house is too scary for the young ones. Thats awesome though! I am also hoping they dye the water red this year but many people here say that they aren't gonna do that ever again. I also spoke to an employee who runs one of the coasters and they said that supposedly giant drop is gonna have something spectacular. I haven't the slightest idea what that means but am hoping its something they've never done before. I dont know if theres usually something that they do to Giant drop every frightfest. So Frightfest 2010 is only 16 days away. Im definitely gonna try and go 3 times! If I end up going on Halloween, assuming they'll let me in with a costume, look for the person who looks like Marilyn Manson because thats gonna be me!
