So basically everything the sfgamworld'ers already know...nice.

Are you saying Whizzer and Demon are leaving together?!
No, no. Little Dipper was built in 1950, now at our park. Whizzer and TOTC were in 1976.
That really shouldn't count. It's like a whole new structure. Plus they aren't even running the ride entirely like it was run at Kiddieland.
Have a take and don't suck, it's the Jim Rome Show!

You also get unlimited food and drink....and at those food prices, it's a nice perk.

Since this is like park admission, parking, food, drink, and flash pass all in one...for 4 people? $299 doe snot seem that much. Some people spend that on the Gold or Platinum passes alone.
hey uh whoever runs this site, can there be a designated time when chats occur? say like specific times to chat about the park? maybe start up a new thing where from this time to this time we people can join us in the chatroom to talk about the park? How bout it? Plz yes?
A question like that should be taken up in the "Problems, Questions and Suggestions Forum". This is strictly for Great America questions or ideas that aren't worthy of a full blown topic. Thanks!

^^ Sorry I'm trying to be helpful. Posts like that aren't. You really can't find something to complain about, so you complain about someone trying to do good? Alrightie.
When I rode BTR yesterday, I noticed that the train I was on had an extremely loud rumble throught the ride, and on the chain lift, it sounded louder than demon and whizzer combined. Why is this?
Why does American Eagle's station move, and when your on the train, it starts moving and popping up and down? I've always wondered why that is.
The trains are very heavy, so when the breaks clamp on them, they stop and the equal and opposite reaction causes the station to move slightly.
And for the popping up and down on the lift, that is because the train is going faster than the lift motor, so as it goes up and "clicks" it suddenly stops and catches the lift chain, as it picks up speed again, it "pops up". I don't know of any "popping" on the brake run/station.
"I've been told that some part of every wish will be heard but lately I lost sight of the truth in those words."
I didn't mean on the lift. The train actually kinda pops around in the station. Almost like the break is holding it back when it has a lot of speed built up.
Anyone know where I can find pictures of rides like American Eagle, Whizzer, Splash Water Falls, etc. being built? I always love seeing old school SFGAM pictures.
This may seem a little random, but are they ever going to do anything with the old ultra twister from Astroworld. To me it seems like a very creative idea, although I have heard no pipeline roller coasters are good. Anyway, I know it is in storage and that it was damaged, so is it just going to be scrapper or put up somewhere?
