Yes, the 6th is out of the question and has been for quote a while. The 13th is probably the soonest it could open but I don't think it will be open by then.
I'm curious to see how long these topper track coasters last. A standard wooden coaster be be easily maintained without any major tear downs. Since the topper track is incased and filled with the cement, it would be a hassle to rip apart one section of track without a major overhaul. It seems like the design can last a long time, but it will be impossible to know until these rides push 5, 10, 20 years.
The on-ride camera is going up. It's going to be located just after the overbanked twist and shout, just before the brake run. Picture can be viewed on the SFGAm Evaluation Squad Facebook page

Technically there could be a need for it. That way, the employees and vehicles using that service corridor aren't at risk of getting injured or damaged while the ride is in operation

Possibly, but you never know. Once there are people on the ride it will be going a lot faster. But you may be right! If it becomes an issue I'm sure Six Flags will fix it. For instance Demon's light tunnel used to do a swirling light sequence however due to rocks being thrown into the top part they removed the top layer of lights for Demons tunnel. I guess what I'm saying is if it truly becomes a problem Six Flags will attempt to fix it in some way.

Well since it most likely will not be opening anytime soon I guess it won't be a issue. If you don't know, there is a major structure defect and that is most likely why testing is not being done. The top hat needs to be repaired before it can go forward with testing. I'm really shocked that this even happened. This is not a good thing obviously for RMC. A picture of it was posted on Theme Park Review for those of you that are members on there as well.
Since the canceled midnight event has passed, it's no longer on the events page. Does anybody know the email? If not, can you still turn in the passes? I forgot during my last trip.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
^^ You do realize that picture was taken BEFORE they tested the ride, right?
And to save people the trip, and avoid giving Alvey any extra views, I'll post the photo here Photo from the Coaster101.com Facebook page This picture was taken the afternoon of the 31st before any testing occurred.
