The lady who took my midnight tickets said they are trying for the 6th.

Hopefully all those screeching sounds it made going through the drive loop didn't mean something went wrong.

I hope not. RMC might have to grease the wheels and track.

The ride also made that sound a little bit as it was coming out of the top hat. Its a VERY QUIET ride overall. The only noise generated by the ride will be screaming riders.

Hopefully it opens in the next week or so. I need some Goliath in my life to help me get over a case of the Blackhawks blues. :(

I'm just hoping it opens before I move to Springfield. I can't delay the move much longer :(

I'm guessing if that were the case there would have been more people working on the ride yesterday.

The next few days will tell us a lot about when the ride will open.

^I guess someone forgot about the "Lose Articles" policy.

I just hope that there aren't too many problems with loose articles (that would slow down loading) when the ride is open.

Are they going to put netting up under the zero g stall?

I did a search within this thread but couldn't find anything, and I have yet to go to the park this season (been trying to get out there though). Is the Scenic Railway open yet or is that still closed due to construction of Goliath? If it's closed, how long till it opens after Goliath is done?

The Scenic Railway is still closed. Both the Scenoce Railway and Goliath should open up around the same time. I am thinking around 2-3 weeks.

It's still closed. I think they're going to repave the service road right after the cranes leave the area....Railroad tracks should be re-installed around the same time. That's just a guess.....I'm basing that off what happened with X-Flight.

Yes, Scenic Railway is closed due to Goliath construction. They had to tear out a whole section of track from the dive loop element to the top hat. It will probably take about a week to replace that section of track.

Funny how three of us posted yes to the question regarding the Scenic Railway at about the same time.

Will there be any more Goliath Insiders?

So with no frequent testing going on is the 6th out of the question?
