I also went on Saturday, but I don't share the same views. Rise of the demon was boring, with the whole Road Warrior look, and demon people jumping out. I thought Rue Le Morgue was well done, I didn't get on rides at night as the lines were huge. So I just went to the shows and the hunted houses.

Studio 13 was by far the best house there.

I thought dead man's party was just as bad as rise of the demon, it really should have been in S.W and had a actual plot to it.

Me and the Wife loved Love at first Fright, we found it hard not to sing along.

The Zombie Jamberiee was fun,

the rides we went on were

Black Widow
Demon
Rue Le Morgue
Terrior Twister
River Rocker

Saw the 3D movie witch was very good up to the end witch was stupid.

Arera 51 was too short

Necropolis- good but not greate, I did not get why we had to go throw loggers run when the gate was open.
I see on you tube people running around and jumping but that didn't happen to us.

Studio 13- was good but I didn't the point of some of the characters that were there

I realy don't see the big deal about Fright Fest. It isn't scary at all,

To me it shows just how much this park is hurting for cash.

The Trools , Vampires, clowns, and wolfs were just standing around and only went after the girls that were screaming every few feet.

It wasn't bad, it was realy good, and I will go back on the 31st since I we dont have school that day.

I was just expecting this big thing and it wasn't what I expected at all.

I was also there on Saturday. I had a great time. I thought it was the best it has been. I did notice that there were not that many scaring people out. In Seven Sins I saw 2 wolfs and a few vampires. That angered me a little. I saw a few pirates and clowns.

Does anybody know where Manny B is? I watched that band that was there for a little and they were not that great.

Necropolis was amazing!! The beginning of the path was a pitch black. There were many scaring people in there. I think that Great America put most of the scaring people in there. It paid off. You should go in and check it out.

Six Flags needs to use more fog! They need to pump in fog in every possible place they can...like Cedar Fair.

I think they use too much fog. Thats why I always wear turtle necks to cover my mouth and nose. I am allergic to it.

Batman's station and queue has fog like the old days. Also, Flash Pass works for Necropolis.

I agree with you 100%. I love fog, I think it gives the park a scary effect. They really need to use more of it.

Question. Why are they still calling IW Predator when that was made to fit the Area 51 theme. Iron Werewolf sounds so much better.

I'm sorry but your post just shows how benighted you are....

Six Flags doesn't advertise Fright Fest as being the scariest event in Illinois... The "big deal" about Fright Fest is that the park transforms for Halloween...

In addition, you shouldn't really say things that you think to be true... Out of ALL of the Six Flags parks, Great America is the ONLY park that is not hurting for cash... In fact, our park is constantly having to make up for the loss in finances on the other park's behalf...

And to address a very common question in the forum in reference to Necropolis... Guests are diverted through the que line of Logger's Run so that there aren't herds of guests going through the gates at once... This allows for more sporadic groups so that the actors can scare the groups themselves and not a whole slew of individuals...

That line for Necropolis is crazy when it busy. There is such a movement of people going in different directions and a fast pace it crazy. And even on Saturdays, the line never actually fills up to where it doesn't move and walking through it only takes about 5 mins.

I went to six flags on saturday, and I wanted to go to necropolis, ,by 7:30, all of loggers run que was full and i waited in it. It was overflowing, the line streched out a little past the bridge, i was shocked people would wait that long. figures that that is the only reason they came.-
