I only like the drop tower and flume ideas... those would be nice :)

Those two ideas are like, why fix something that's not broken.

I see where you're coming from with that, but the flumes are outdated. Even if it was just reviving them and doing no major construction would still be nice. But I can argue with GD unless they were to upgrade it to tilting some/all cars on the tower.

I was asked about a new paintball attraction, a new dark ride, a new train, a new show, a new mild roller coaster, a new extreme roller coaster, a new water ride, new kiddy rides, a safari ride, a boat tour, a new drop ride, and a funhouse. Some of these sound rather promising.

Safari? I guess we can say goodbye to the 4Th fest!

Other than that, I'd like the paintball, dark ride, both coasters, water ride IF they take one out(BB preferred), I guess drop tower, and maybe the funhouse.

I was also asked about a themed roller coaster, cooling stations throughout the park, and adding some of the scare mazes in July.

I was asked about a dome thing that looked like a ropes course inside it, the cooling station and the roller coaster simulator. None really sounded all that appealing to me.

Oh man, can you imagine SFGAm trying to do a boat ride like Jurassic Park, Escape from Pompeii, or funniest yet, the Jungle Cruise? I'm calling it right now. #fail

I was asked about limited engagement shows (acrobats and the like), an electronic dance show, and an in-park suite.

Just look up six flags advisory panel and join. It's too late for you to receive the current survey but it is worth it to join and let the park know what you think.

Me too. I sent them an email in regards to why I haven't received the survey. I'll keep you posted! :D

Hey, do you think Great America would ever bring back the pause on V2? Just wondering, why'd they take it out in the first place? (It made V2 so unique) Maybe they could do that in the future...

I agree. I've been on steel venom which is like v2 with the holding brake and it makes it so much more fun. Chances are since it's six flags it won't happen though...sadly

Holding brake was the best part of the ride. It made the front row amazing. I haven't heard any official explanation. Maybe it was a maintenance nightmare.

I don't know officially, but it makes sense that it was a cost issue as well as a structural issue. Having a heavy train come to a complete stop puts a lot of stress on the strcture, which was already modified due to being under supported. As much as Intamin and other enthusiasts would like to say "it's meant to sway"...I would like reference Intamins track record.

I know it stopped working towards the end of the 08 or 09 season, and then it just never came back. The park saw no sense it fixing something that would not change ridership.

It could work similar to the cabanas in hurricane harbor (private use), or it could work like the first class lounge in an airport (public, with restricted access).

There's only so much you can charge for admission which is why the park needs to make money by upselling people. Premium food, premium rides, VIP tours, cabanas, and flashpasses are all examples. Adds big money to the bottom line, and offsets the costs for frugal guests (e.g. season pass holders who go every weekend but never buy anything in the park).

A premium lounge (in park suite) could be a cabana-type service in the dry side of the park, and generate additional revenue without impacting cheap guests like me :)

What about the former Cyber Cafe? Chances are there's tons of buildings that could work for hotels. Maybe Necropolis or Where the Hospital Haunted House is?
