I love the complete lack of any source for the article after the first paragraph.

Nice. Way to say exactly what I already did ;-)

And you could get a photo, crazier people take their phones all the way through rides to get a first person video of the entire thing, so a simple photo shouldn't be too bad...

If your going to take pictures on Iron Wolf please dont post them here because 1: it is against park rules and 2: theres nothing there to take pictures of.

In that case: 1. I didn't know it was against park rules to take a picture. 2. If the trailer with the trains is back there then yes there would be something to take a photo of, if it wasn't a fracture of section 4 of code 31.8, paragraph 2, line 5 that is...

Its against the parks rules to take pictures or video from coasters and most flats. If you are seen doing it the ops have every right to stop the ride and call security. If security feels that you were warned adequately it could result in ejection from the park.

Honestly, no one is going to see or care if you take a picture at the top of the lift then put your camera away quickly.

I will be honest, I have taken on-ride video and pictures on pretty much every ride at SFGAm and other parks in past years. I was just smart enough and didn't get caught. Also I never posted them anywhere. And seriously, everyone does it.

IF you do take a picture, just email it to screamscape.

We're not the KGB, if you want to take pictures from the top of Iron Wolf we're not going to hunt you down and take your pics away. But if you post them on these boards they will get taken down, and I dont think I need to explain why. Also my original post was not intended to be sarcastic but if you want a sarcasm war:

You guys are right, what was I thinking. Quick, get the camera, theres some old tables back there, PICTURE!!! OMG Power Dive's cabin thats been there for 7 years!!!! Huge Screamscape update there. Sorry guys theres an entire season between 2009 and 2011, get a corndog and enjoy the parade :)

The policy is no loose articles may be taken out while on a ride unless train, or Sky Trek Tower. If they see it, they will eject you from the park. If you feel like not coming to the park for another year, do what you want. It's pointless to take trains of the Chang trains anyway if they are there. So, you see them, big deal.

The reason why it's a rule is not because they don't like it when you take pictures on rides, but rather that if you loose the object in your hand, it might injure someone else on the ride, and on top of it, your object might be broke when it falls to the ground.

I was on Mr. Freeze at SFOT, and yes they caught someone. Goodbye they went.

^Yes its a policy that has a consequence...just like speeding. Can it be dangerous? Sure. Can you get caught? Of course. But is it still easy to get away with safely? Definitely.

How do you think TPR got all there POVs before 2005?

Anyway back to the topic. Does anyone know if the trains could even work on Iron Wolf without any major modifications? For example, brakes, airgate spacing, the length of the train in the station, ect.

Intamin worked with B&M when B&M was making Iron Wolf. Intamin and B&M stand ups have very close track styles and the trains are VERY similar. Their shouldn't be major modifications.

Changs trains are what, black red & blue? If they made em up to look nice silver grey & black with new decals and restraints for IW, damn shed look fine. Haha. Along with the trains id hope they painted the ride itself. I love the rustic red....but I think itd look a lot better with black or charcoal grey supports...kinda like a gun metal.

As for chang itself makin its way into our lineup, if rumors hold in with another bizarro coaster here, id hope they'd introduce a new character to coasters like Captain America, Green lantern, the Flash, etc....hell someone. Have the effects sixflags introduced on the bizarros/x2/terminator, but have a new superhero coaster along with batman & superman.

Omg captain americas sometin...haha. The track could be blue with giant white stars, red supports. That'd look awsome in the park at GREAT AMERICA. Haha. I've actually already drawn up the track cause im a nerd haha.

But yoi know wht I mean....why not introduce another character? Hell they sell the justice league merch theroughout the chain anyway. Esp. Flash stuff....just a thought.

Captain America is Marvel and I think Universal has thoes. Six flags has the FLASH pass so that takes care of him. The DC Chars I have seen so far were Flash, Green Lantern, Joker, Sensetro, Wonder Woman, Batman and Robin. I hear they have an Hawk Girl but I have never seen her. The only DC comics Character I have not seen is Superman.

To Bizzaro is a cool Superman villian, but he's obscure. I never seen or heard about him until Six Flags said Bizzaro the ride. This is not to say he's not in comic books, but why did they pick him? Screamscape's rumor for Chang is Green Lantern. To me, it's not bad to have a Green Lantern. He at least finally has his own movie that just came out (animated). Is that why we've been seeing Sinestro, who probably not many people know where he's from.

To me though, Wonder Woman needs something at Six Flags parks. She's in like the top 3 for DC, and she gets nothing. (The other two are Batman, and Superman.) She's was in 2 of the Justice League shows (one older), they just released a Wonder Woman animated movie, she's going to have her own live action movie coming out soon, and she had her tv series.

there are so many DC comics characters that have come and gone but im sure Six Flags tries to stick to characters from the Justice League. If not directly from it, they relate to it i.e robin to batman, bizzaro to superman. If they are going to do something DC themed with Chang I do think our park should do something other than Bizzaro. Green Lantern colors would look pretty cool, as well as Wonder Women, but the best idea i have come up with which is probably least likely would be to actually just theme the ride to the Justice League and what do you know an actual Justice League movie is rumored for 2011.

Well, All I saw were a trucks bed. I find it majorly disappointing as that could mean anything. But, I did notice that some work is being done to fix the horrendous sight of SWF (While riding the train).

Again David....You have any proof? Pictures? What Kind of work? You need to be specific if anyone is going to believe you. Especially me.

why was the area full of water this summer if the water was supposedly long "taken out" as SWF went bye bye 2 years ago.

Wow....feels good to be on the board once again...I feel so old.

Enough reminiscing, here's my question (sorry if it's been answered). Could Chang possibly be converted from a stand-up to a sit-down? It seems if it was originally built as a stand-up, the elements wouldn't allow for sit-down trains. At least comfortably. Otherwise, I just don't think Shapiro is stupid enough to run two-standups at the same time. Of course, we do have two Wild Mouse coasters very near each other.

A stand up coaster has the same heartline as a floorless coaster.

My guess on the water in SWF would be because they had nothing better to do with that spot this season and it probably looked a little nicer with the water covering up the last bit of pipes and such that are still there.
