Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I wouldn’t count on the shade. I don’t see any posts where they would add that. They have a lot more to do first anyways. Like get the queue finished.

So each dispatch is roughly 2.5-3 minutes. If you round to 3 minutes. That’s 20 trains per hour. X by 16. That’s 320 per hour.

Also. No spiels or music or launch countdown or anything. There are speakers in station but nothing so far.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect anything the first week of operation.

There’s actually some landscaping which is surprising. Should have focused on queues first. They are working on them. Station will be white. It looks boring. I don’t think they are adding much more.

How long have the lines been? And how have they been checking membership?

Visual check of membership and then they give you a sequenced ticket.

Lines haven’t been bad.

My thoughts: Ride is great. Zero g roll is best element. Dog tongue is meh. Launch is not super intense. Full Throttle is better.

About to take a second ride and will give my review later. First trip was in the back row and that launch plasters you to the seat and truly does takes your breath away.
As far as Full Throttles launch being better, it's close. Damn close.

I disagree. The launch didn’t take my breath away. And I didn’t get plaster to seat feeling. I rode. 4th and 5th rows.

Maybe your train didn’t hit is Maxx launch then cause I rode 5th row and was plastered in my seat. It was crazy fast.

Ride is roughly an hour wait with small queue full. Imagine wait when bigger queue is full.

Maxx Force's layout makes sense:
Have you ever watched a Formula 1 race?
Accelerate in the straightaway (launch), downshift and slow down to negotiate hairpin curves ( dog tongue), accelerate in a broad curve ( entrance to zero g roll), full speed through an S-curve (zero g roll), navigate through another tricky part of the course whilst changing speed and direction (final inversion).
Drive into the pits for new tires.
I love Maxx Force!

How is that "first drop" ?? To me, I'm thinking that will be THE best part of the entire ride (not that other parts are bad)! Hopefully I find out in a couple hours when I get my first ride.

I’m not saying the layout doesn’t make sense. It does. It’s a great addition to the park and general public will love it. But to me. It’s overhyped. It feels like a typical Six Flags ride. The zero g roll is the best element for me. The launch is fast but isn’t this knock intense like I thought. The dog tongue to me is the worst part of Ride. I wouldn’t wait more than an hour for it on any given day.

Overall, I think Full Throttle is the better launch coaster.

Maybe 15-20min wait right now. Pretty sure I got a slow launch the first time because we laboured over the dog tongue. Still an amazing ride. If you watch it a few times you can definitely tells some launches are better than others

Honestly I was so blown away by the launch that I forgot to pay attention. Lol
I will say that the g-forces going into the zero g roll are strong.

That clearly means ride doesn’t need the 78 mph to get up to dog tongue thus meaning you’ll get inconsistent launches all the time.

I left. There was almost no line when I left. They weren’t working on the queue anymore either. Season Pass holders can enter at 5pm so I expect it to get a bit crazy.
