That's random....and yea? We've known this for how long?
Actually most haven't and that is why some people complained about how bad it will be spilling out into the midway. The new queue won't help much though.

No, it won't help at all. It'll be the same length as Iron Wolf's before the stage was moved there.

No problem CoasterMike! There is lots of stuff going on. They're placing the red topper track in the dive loop and all the work going into the lift hill. Track pieces are on the ground for the zero g stall just waiting to be lifted into place! It was cool to be able to see the front car hanging out of the front of the station too!
^Yes, they're safely strapped to the structure in case someone slips.
I could only go for a few hours today, but didn't have the best of luck. I figured there would be a lot of buses there and there sure was. Very few cars at opening but a lot of buses. The worst part is that Raging Bull, X-Flight, and V2 all had problems the first hour or so. Unfortunately, I could only manage one ride the entire first hour and a half of opening after waiting in line for Bull which wouldn't open until I was leaving.
Goliath was looking incredible! I went opening day but it was so cool to see the lift hill finished. They were filling the top of the dive loop with grout when I walked over to the entrance of the ride. Also, when I first drove in to get a parking spot, there's a cool angle of Goliath's hill towering over the park (even though it's way in the back) that looks like it's directly behind the Columbia Carousel. I tried to get a photo but couldn't get a steady shot from my window. Hopefully I'll be back next Friday to ride, if it opens on time.

^I doubt it. They are already putting in huge work weeks beyond normal standards. We'll really need to hand it to the construction team once this is done - they are going to work night and day to get this ride operational for May 29th!
I also think that's a main reason why the mid-night ride night changed. While the ride may function on Media Day, I'd be really surprised at this point if it was "done"

Still working now...Will be another 8:30 kind of day.
There was also welding going on in the station today; That is why the car was moved up. There was also electrical work going on..... the red light was flashing on the transfer elevator.

Welding was going on in the station....I'm guess that's what this is for. Welding, that's why the car moved. Transfer/Elevator Signs of Life! Saw a lot of this today. Handrails. Photo-bombed myself. Grout going in the Dive Loop.

Thanks for the GREAT photos and photo album! We all appreciate it.
If anyone has videos and pictures of Goliath, please feel free to post them. I promise none of us will talk bad about any photos or videos that you may have taken.
Six Flags Over Georgia just pushed back their Hurricane Harbor opening two days before it's announced/confirmed date. It's just something to consider being that they only have a week left and giant pieces of the ride are sitting on the ground...
Just talked to someone at the park from guest relations and they mentioned that they are hoping to get the track done by Sunday. Not sure if that means laid or filled with grout and ready for testing. They also mentioned that there was only 30 test runs required. Not sure if I believe that, but who knows. It will open when it opens.

I can see that happening. I am going to take back what I said about the entire ride being done tomorrow cause there is almost no way they will finish. I trust what the park says.
I am curious to see what brand Six Flags will advertise in the middle of the Goliath Lift structure. I could see another giant hair gel banner in the middle of there.

It was announced a few weeks ago that göt2b would be sponsoring Goliath as well as Zumanjaro at SFGAd....
