Anyway, those do look like they are probably fright fest. You have to remember that they still had that Fright Fest teaser before the 2013 one. Also, they are probably just using the fact that these happen to be in crates to keep us on our feet and to stop people from complaining that the teasers are terrible.
Did they say what kind of green track. (B&M, INTAMIN,ect)
No he didn't specify, but I couldn't tell if he just meant on the highway near SFGAm or he saw it FROM the highway. Either way if it was the first it's not coming here and if it was the second he is probably not telling the truth.

Lets go back to American Eagle... Do you guys really thing American Eagle is just gonna stay standing for ever? You have never seen wood before have you??? They would have to keep REBUILDING The entire Structure to keep it standing, and like said! That part of the park is BANNED From being built on! I would be willing to bet, even if they wanted to TEAR DOWN the BIG Helix to rebuild it, it would fall under NO BUILDING!
Thats ok, Lets leave it up for ever... Condolences to the Families who lost loved ones when American Eagle Collapsed
Most people know that wood doesn't last nearly as long as steel. The maintenance staff knows the issue with wood, and as has been pointed out, already replaces portions of the wood already. The upkeep at SFGAm may not be the best, but they are reliable and I don't have any fears of the ride collapsing while I'm on it.
^My opinion on a ride like American Eagle is that, sure you can keep American Eagle probably for 70 years if you wanted to, but overtime usually a ride gets less popular. Also, American Eagle can not stay like it is right now for 70 years as FParker has said, what basic knowledge would tell anyone. That ride is getting rebuilt little by little over the years. Is American Eagle going to increase it's attendance by people saying we (meaning the park) are putting newer wood on it every so often (whether it be a year or a few years), so thus come out ride the newer wood American Eagle ride. They are the only ones that really know how much the wood / maintenance is costing them every year, and maybe they feel it just makes more sense to replace the ride entirely. For just 20 years of American Eagle maintenance, is it costing $5 million. I really have no idea, but it could be... I don't know what they are doing with it. All I know is I seen a pink ribbon on the helix. If it's just the helix, it's just the helix.
It's been 30 years. Does anyone even have a clue about how much of the American Eagle is the same (meaning how much track have they replaced) as it was before?

Fist of all, do you need to capitalize all these words? Anyway, I believe Eagle can make it longer than Demon. The unpainted wood at Eagle is what's new, there are many parts of the structure is 31 years old.....But you should remember that when they construct wooden coasters the lumber is treated so it lasts. There's also waterproofing, etc. If you seriously think American Eagle is leaving the park soon, then you're dead wrong. I don't understand why people complain that it's rough....Not even. Go on Mean Streak at Cedar Point and then you'll learn what the term "rough" really is. The sad thing is that Mean Streak came in 10 years later.

There is no original track anywhere on American Eagle, and I'd be willing to wager that probably 20-30% of the structure is also not original. Also the park doesn't just decide one day every few years to replace wood, that happens weekly if not daily sometimes, as wood splits, breaks, warps, rots, etc, those boards have to be replaced, if you see a pink ribbon somewhere on the ride, that's probably a problem board that will be replaced shortly. Finally the structural wood is primed before it's installed so it's not obvious.

I don't think we're getting Kingda Ka. It is for getting a 2013-2014 drop tower just like Lex Luthor. Green track + Blue supports look like Deja Vu to me.

You couldn't possibly be more wrong. Read carefully because this has been explained a THOUSAND times. Great America can't build anything taller than 330ft. (Sky Trek Tower) and they need to appear before a zoning board before constructing anything over 125ft.
I wouldn't expect anything large for 2013, because there would have been a zoning board meeting by now.
Has anyone thought about the Wisconsin State Fair? They just had the fair going on, and they had a roller coaster there, and not surprisingly, it was GREEN! That's probably it! http://www.flickr.com/photos/musher2012 ... 0877197644

Carnival trucks also don't always leave the day after the fair which was the 12th. That roller coaster was at the Wisconsin State Fair a good 7 days prior to it even be opening. If it's not that, than the other choice would be Cedar Point was has a bluish green track color, but I think it would be more Wisconsin State Fair than not.

^I bet that the person did see that, and he literally meant he saw a truck driving on a highway with it. Good theory! The only other possible situation is that we are either getting Kingda Ka at our park or Deja Vu back! Next year will be great!
I went back to Re-Read what i posted! I never once said, what i said, to Defend those who said it was going next year. I just simply said, For all of you who just expect a ride to live on with infinite life just because its a classic, will have to at some point give it up... Never said it was going anytime soon.
The Capitalization thing is something i have dealt with since i was very young! Whether you call it a habit, or a dysfunctional Brain thing.. Its not gonna go away! Which always gets in my way with message boards and it being considered "Screaming". . . . Like a Thunderstorm, Life shall continue afterwords :/

This is your first post? Again people.....we are NOT getting Deja Vu back or Kinda Ka!! If one more person says something about this I'm going to buy the park from Six Flags and close it down to stop the nonsense!

I didn't really think at all that they would move it here, but I have to say that I still felt some relief after I saw the post on Facebook.
Have there really been any clues that seem very likely so far? I have to say that only knowing bits of rumors is getting me more and more anxious for August 30th. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I have no idea what Great America will do this year! No clue has really stood out to me yet.
