I wouldn't say they "stole" Iron Wolf. That's like saying someone stole your 1977 Ford Pinto. If anything, I kind of feel like we're giving them Cajun as an apology.
I prefer to call Six Flags America our Roller Coaster Retirement Home. When they get too old and unable to contribute to bettering our coaster society, we send them there to live out the rest of their coaster lives.
It's kind of like the Metrodome for old Packers. [runs away]

Texas Skyscreamer is gorgeous, hope they see the american theme obviously would fit us as well! ;D
If they don't get Orbit up soon, they'd probably replace it with a Skyscreamer, since the name and color may go good with that area.
I can really only see 3 locations that make sense for a skyscreamer: County Fair, Hometown Square, and Carousel Plaza.
I know I'll get haters on this one, but I wouldn't mind them replacing Revolution with a "Great American Skyscreamer". All they'd have to do is get rid of the stairs, redo the exit, and it's all good. They already have the queue (which is plenty)
Totally with you on that!! I know I just ranted about everything serves a purpose but that ride was/is a handmedown or however you spell it. I was always a bit upset we had Revy after experiencing me some Maxair
In just a few hours Six Flags Great America will make the most groundbreaking coaster announcement that we have ever made in our park’s 37 year history! For those of you who are counting down the minutes, you can log into http://www.sixflags.com at 4 am CST for the big reveal!
If you are receiving this email you have RSVP’d for the groundbreaking ceremony at Six Flags Great America on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 10 am (Tomorrow). We were able to accommodate everyone who signed up, those of you who used the same email for different members of your party only received one email and there should be no concern to bring everyone you signed up to attend.
We ask that guests park in the employee parking lot which is located off of Route 21/Riverside Drive. Once you have parked please head to the far left hand side of the parking lot towards the administrative building (You will see a flagpole and balloon tower). You will check in at “Gate 2” and will be given directions the ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 10am in County Fair at the former Iron Wolf site and will last about 30 minutes.
We ask that you are mindful of your shoe and clothing selection as the ceremony will be outside and may be on rough terrain. We would also like to remind you that the park will not be open tomorrow and no rides will be running.
We are very excited to have you join us, see you tomorrow!
Sincerely,
Brandon"
That is the email regarding the groundbreaking ceremony!

Looks like I'll be waking up early tomorrow for the 4 AM reveal on their site! I wonder if there will be an earlier morning leak like with X-Flight and the LA Times. It's going to be a long 8 hours.

Why would you say that?!! I love those two rides!!!! They deserve to stay!!!!
Whenever I go one of the two are closed
You must go on really weird days. The only days I see Triple Play completely closed is Fridays in October, and at night because of Ignight -7pm. Hometown Fun Machine is only closed when the park is about completely dead.

That's the name I predicted a few weeks ago on C-net. I thought it would be cool and better than Goliath.
