Bob O wrote:Busch Gardens Williamsburg, or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay may not have alot of roller coasters, but the ones they have are excellent. to very good. And each park has GREAT THEMING and a great ambiance that SFGAM cant come close to matching. It is very easy to spend a day at either park and just watch the animals/shows etc and have a great time without going on any rides. The food is superior and the only thing SFGAM has on either park is quantity of roller coasters, and while I love roller coasters to me the total experience of the theme park is more important than having extra roller coasters to ride. SFGAM is a good park, with some excellent rides in it, but when it comes to anything beyond that it needs alot of work IMHO to compare to the top-notch parks. To me its the quality of the overall experience in the park than just having more types of certain rides.
I couldn't agree with this post more. SFGAm definitely has the quantity of solid rides, however the theming of the rides doesn't touch BG. Both parks offer great experiences but they are really different; almost apples and oranges.
David is making sense and I just agreed with Bob O, the world must becoming to an end

Raging Bull has terrible theming, if any, and it is STILL an amazing coaster. Theming assists coasters, but it doesn't make the ride better. Six Flags could theme Iron Wolf to death, repaint it, but keep the same trains, and it doesn't make the ride any better. Sure our park doesn't give off the best vibe, but we have 14 amazing coasters, and a load of flat rides. Our collection is superior to anything in the area, and I may go out on a limb and say ALMOST in the country. We do have terrible food, but if a family comes to the park, they can always walk across the street to The Golden Corral, Burger king, McDonald's, and I believe there is a Cheesecake Factory.

ok so, after riding Superman, I saw these huge metal storage boxes next to the exit of superman on the ground. They were light green and I believe I saw 2 big metal boxes. Does anyone know what was in there? Me and a friend were thinking it was Chang. Oh and btw, are the rumors true about Chang being re-themed to Bizarro? I dont have time to read all the comments. I want a straight direct answer. Anyone?
^If you have time to post that, I believe you have time to read.
But, to answer your question, nobody FOR SURE knows anything right now. It's all speculation. As of right now, from what people can tell from the track in Kentucky and the little bit found at sfgam, the track is still yellow with blue supports. No news on the re-theming yet. I don't think we will know that until it is officially announced. Hope that answered your questions.
Have a take and don't suck, it's the Jim Rome Show!

There has always been containers outside Superman...all different colors. What's stored in them no one knows.

It could be Ameri-Go-Round or the Hay Baler or even Merchandise. I bet if you took the VIP tour they might tell you. Then if you spent the 199 or 299 for the VIP tour and it was something stupid you'd be out that money.

It is Ameri-Go-Round. Hay Baler is in a scrapyard. Not that I cut it up and put it in the scrap bin....
Ameri-Go-Round is a 1910 hand carved Denzel Carousel and is worth well over a million bucks. I hear the park is asking to much for it and that's why it's sitting around (supposedly nearly or just over 2 million). And those shipping crates are considered storage. The park doesn't have endless room to keep it sitting around indoors, and those shipping crates are fairly well sealed, I'm sure it's fine.

^ Bring that ride back to Kentucky and put it in Kentucky kingdom! It used to be apart of our old park Fountain Ferry Amusment Park here in Louisville Kentucky. It would be lovely to have it at the park in the Hellavators old spot! It will make the parks entrace a beauty! Six Flags should have put the ride in the Hellavators old spot after the accident.
Just look how the parks entrace at Kentucky Kingdom used to be with a double deckor Carosal
Hey buddy, you cant have EVERYTHING back, i know your situation and how much it must suck, but this is six flags stuff, I doubt they bring it to KK anyways. Theeres a 0% chance.

Dead serious, this has nothing to do with the Kentucky Kingdom/Six Flags issue to me. Before all this/that happend, everyone thought that Six Flags was going to put this ride in our park. Many people here in louisville (ederly) wants this ride back because it brings back memories from their childhood of when the ride was back at fountine ferry. It like, history or something or a rememberance at the old fountine ferry park, being at Kentucky Kingdom. It don't have to be at our park, it can be at beech bend or Water front park for all I care.
No! When Kentucky Kingdom open in 1987, it had a double deckor which is shown in the pic. After 1987 the park closed due to the fact the park wasn't making any money its first year, all rides were removed besides buildings and the Star Chaser.
The Ameri-Go-Round used to be here in Kentucky at the Fountine Ferry Amusment Park. The park closed after a major riot! The park was vandalized and etc. So the owner decided to closed the park in the 1960s or 70s and the owner sold all the rides.
It was rumored after Greezed Lightin was added and SFGAm dismantle the ride that the ride was comming to Kentucky Kingdom. Many people in louisville wanted Six Flags to put the ride in louisville after the Superman Tower Of Power Accidnet in that ride's old spot right infront of the parks main entrance mainly because the Ameri-Go-Round is very historic here.
But the Ameri-Go-Round at SFGAm was there since the park opened in 1976. So the only similarities between the ride in your picture. And the SFGam one, is name only.
