From that photo, seein the distance from him(the midway) to the lift/drop, the ride area is way larger than I expected!! Simply whoa.

Can it just be May already? I'm ready to ride this amazing coaster already!
Really anxious to see how the entire site will look like once all the landscaping is in and the theming is all set up!

They probably did work or are doing work on the lights in SW, all the lights are on in Southwest Territory, the parking lot/road right there and the floods on Eagle.

In the middle of the off-season? You'd think replacing light fixtures, or even just bulbs would come sometime closer to the start of the season.

Gotta figure out what works and what doesn't, then when you figure that out you inventory the stuff that doesn't work, compare that with what's in stock. Then you gotta figure out what you need to order. Order's cost money, if it's a large sum I'm sure they have to submit that to corporate for approval. Approval takes time from any company, once it's approved then you gotta order the stuff. If it's special order it can take weeks to get, sometimes months for specialty light fixtures. If everything works out right and speedy, they can have everything they need just in time for the start of operations and installed in mid/late April.

I remember this one pole in a parking lot in Hanover Park I was a part of replacing, from the time it got knocked over, til all those processes went though and we got the new pole it was about 6-7 months.

Either that or they left all the lights on for some other reason, but it probably looks cool on the highway with the spots on Eagle and Giant Drop in the driving snow.

edit, the spots on Eagle are now off, so they are def doing something...

I'm excited for the queue because you're going to be going under the track and wrapping around all over. All the extra room gives them space for a larger queue since they'll need one

What "ladder" thing are you referring to? Also, more ice has covered the camera. This is a flashback from earlier this year with the annoying ice.

Now sincee they moved the webcam we cant see the hangar and control tower. :( Hopefully they will move the webcam in enough time to see construction of the hangar and control tower.

^They probably won't worry about that until the station is done, and its pretty far from that.

HHmmm... It's 7:22 and I thought I'd check out the webcam and now it says Six Flags Great America at the top but i'm seeing flashing lights right towards the bottom of the SFGRAM line. Is that how many times the cam is taking a pic or is there something going on on a Sat night? Just wondering.
Candy: What you lookin' at?
Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama.
Candy: Yeah, you see something you like?
Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.

Hey guys if you look at the staircase near the back end of the station it kind of looks like a path goes across to the other side. The reason why i say this is because the case near the front it goes away from the station not under like the back staircase. what do you guys think? I really hope that it actually splits into 4 lines instead of two two sets for rows 1-4 and the other for rows 5-8

^^ The staircase that you are referring too that goes under the station I believe is the exit. It goes under the station because it's going to merge with the exit from the other side which is probably the ramps they put in on the other side. I'm assuming you will exit out to the same area that SWF did.

Anybody know how much this ride is costing? I've heard 12-15 million, but that seems kind of cheap.
