Chang has nothing to do with the fact that Six Flags knew SFKK was not pulling in good enough attendance to warrant major investments. Declining attendance year after year does not make anyone interested in putting in new attractions.
I am sure Six Flags knew they would be fought over since they never got to actually replace Chang. I'm sure when they thought of Bonzai Beach they knew it would not be a very pricey addition. Hence they never added anything major. So, they way I see it, they will pay the $$ they intended to put into Bonzai Beach (hate the name) and Chang will remain in Chicago. Remember we have a water park now. We don't need another. Maybe 1-2 things added to it DOWN THE LINE. HH is only 5 years old!
There has been NO report that the board said they want Chang back. Nothing about them wanting Six Flags to pay up. Yes, when you pay taxes on something (condo, house) that means you OWN it. They were the ones who most likely paid for Chang to get repainted several years ago.

Dear god. What has this website gotten too? I used to love going on here, but now, with all the useless arguing, complaining, and BS it's really starting to make me sick. This was my first ever coaster forum, but now, I think it's time to move elsewhere.
Hey genius. If you are sick with this topic, don't read it and dont reply to it.
You make me sick with your responses. TOOL!!!!!
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
The one park that needs Chang is SFStl. Look at us.. We have a great lineup. Raging Bull Viper Demon Am Eagle V2 Batman Superman A bunch of Great Flats
Now look at SFStl Mr. Freeze Tony Hawk Big Spin Boss Screamin Eagle Evil Kneviel
I would love Chang, and absolutley want it, but we really dont need it, do we? I think it needs to take the 8 hour trip down.

Can you not read? He's saying exactly that. He is DONE with sfgamworld as a whole.
Oh and calling him a tool..... Grow up! I think I'm sick of this site to. People who should have been banned are plentiful, and all of these people arguing
Since they were the ones to give Six Flags full permission to remove the ride in the first place… and in addition to the fact that Chang was placed entirely on property that Six Flags owned in full… and not on Fairgrounds property, I don’t think they’ve got a snowball’s chance in hell of getting Chang back.

Oh yes we're so sure Busch has only 4 coasters. Seriously someone says they're leaving the site and you guys still keep insulting them? WTF? And its pretty easy for you to insult Busch but pretty hard to say one bad thing about Great America. Well hey guess what...CP and SFMM have more coasters than us! Shall I throw that in your face? Your lame little park with only gasp 13 credits?!?! Grow up.
Oh and Busch coasters pretty much crap all over ours. Yeah I said it. Need a tissue? You fanboys are so annoying. I'm almost embarrassed I made an account on here...

Busch Gardens get pretty boring even in just one day. You have obviously never been there. While Montu, Kumba, Gwazi, and Sheikra are good rides, they have no good flats, and it gets way to over crowded for such a small park. Dont get me wrong, its a nice little park with a beutiful animal section, but its definatley a one day park. I would definatley take our depth of good flats, alot of decent coasters, and overall a great park where you could never get bored.
If youre gonna hate on our park, get the hell of our forums!

Busch Gardens Williamsburg, or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay may not have alot of roller coasters, but the ones they have are excellent. to very good. And each park has GREAT THEMING and a great ambiance that SFGAM cant come close to matching. It is very easy to spend a day at either park and just watch the animals/shows etc and have a great time without going on any rides. The food is superior and the only thing SFGAM has on either park is quantity of roller coasters, and while I love roller coasters to me the total experience of the theme park is more important than having extra roller coasters to ride. SFGAM is a good park, with some excellent rides in it, but when it comes to anything beyond that it needs alot of work IMHO to compare to the top-notch parks. To me its the quality of the overall experience in the park than just having more types of certain rides.

Dont get me wrong, Busch Gardens has outstanding quality, more than SFGAm, but we have better flats by far, and more quality coasters. There is more to do then BG.

^^^ Are you a coaster enthusiast, or a theming enthusiast?
Raging Bull has terrible theming, if any, and it is STILL an amazing coaster. Theming assists coasters, but it doesn't make the ride better. Six Flags could theme Iron Wolf to death, repaint it, but keep the same trains, and it doesn't make the ride any better. Sure our park doesn't give off the best vibe, but we have 14 amazing coasters, and a load of flat rides. Our collection is superior to anything in the area, and I may go out on a limb and say ALMOST in the country. We do have terrible food, but if a family comes to the park, they can always walk across the street to The Golden Corral, Burger king, McDonald's, and I believe there is a Cheesecake Factory.
