Besides "I can't wait to ride Wolfie" and "Iron Wolf rules!".
Alright, I have seen just about enough of the whining, complaining, the moaning and the crying in this thread to make me want to puke. Here I am trying to relax in my hospital bed, and I'm reading page after page of crap.
There needs to start being a lot more maturity here or there might be a lot less of you potentially in the near future . Some of you and you know who you are, are already sKating on thin ice.
Indeed, I have complained quite a bit. And I apoligize, but I agree. Once the park opens, it'll be more like, Did you guys see that piece of track! WOW! Baha.
@Jcoaster95...Thanks for posting that video up on facebook. I didn't even notice (or care to look) when I saw the clip. I was too distracted on the workers who were going to be employed. Did you see some of the applicants, they were wearing pajamas to go and apply there while being given a small interview on the spot.
Also, for those of you who are fans of the Six Flags Great America Fan Page, isn't is annoying on all the questions that go on there?!
OK back on topic. I read most of the topics here, but it was hard for me to keep up to date on the things that I missed being in school, but im on spring break now
Anyways my two cents is that Chang would be a great addition to the park. The general public would have no idea where it came from or even care. They would just look at it and say "oooh ahh" and want to ride it. I like IW great memories, but its time for that baby to go. It has decent capacity, but I feel that the majority of the general public who visit the park on a regular basis are tired of the ride. It seems as if they will only go on it because the other rides are full or whatever. There is nothing appealing about the ride. Its a dark red (or whatever) hidden behind a forest. Someone who has never been to the park will probably not find it to attractive compared to the other rides.
I still dont see how some people say that Chang wont be able to fit on IW. I think it will fit perfectly, maybe im wrong, but the first drop and first loop can be behind camp cartoon network then the majority of the ride be where IW is now. Just a random thought, didn't put too much into it.
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.

Absolutely not. The only way Chang would fit there is if they utilize some of the employee parking lot.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
If they can make onboard audio on a B&M floorless I dont see why they can't do it on a standup. With some decent theming, onboard audio, and fire effects it would be one of the best coasters at SFGAm.

Agreed. I don't see what kind of thememing we would need onboard for, but i really like that fire effect. On Bizarro, its so cool to feel the heat while waiting in line, a cold effect like this would be awesome.
Top 5: 1) El Toro. 2) Maverick. 3) Millenium Force. 4) Diamondback. 5) X2. Coaster Count: 167 (41 Wood, 125 Steel) @Coaster_Cole on Twitter
If the coaster was to take on the Bizarro theme, Fire would be welcomed from me! It would also be amusing to see almost something of a green beam of light if the coaster is Green lantern themed. But I definitely wouldn't mind just having the coaster with no effects.
For the onboard audio, rather than every seat having the audio, wouldn't it be possible to have a speaker in the front or back of each row? This way it's less costly and such.
It would be awesome if we saw (in the ABC video) the trains with speakers already on it.
EDIT: Does B&M support Six Flags adding audio systems to the ride?
^ Not only that but B&M developed on-board audio for Hollywood Dream in Japan as well so I don't think they are totally "against" it....I think any company will try to do whatever they can to please their clients provided they get the funds to do/attempt it.
^ Agreed. I know Six Flags has a tendency to not care what the designer of the ride thinks, if it works, it goes. Cough*PTC trains*Cough! I need to get that cough checked out.
I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but in order to accurately get Chang's size compared to SFGAm, do the following:
If you have Google Earth or can go to Bing.com/maps, go to SFKK on the map. Find Chang. Put duct tape (or some such thing that will stick to the screen...it'll be easier if you don't have a flatscreen that it would be too hard to peel off of) around the borders of the ride. Write down the elevation level. (e.g., 3211 feet).
Then find SFGAm. Go to the same elevation level. Then you can see exactly how big Chang is compared to the park, and you can turn the map to see exactly where it would fit.
Easy as pie! (:
