Any Mack mouse that you see on this page (http://www.rcdb.com/ir.htm?model=29) is what is to be installed. The only difference is that this will be indoors and highly (hopefully) themed.

RCDB says DK is a "Wild Mouse (compact park)," so here's the page in question: http://www.rcdb.com/ir.htm?model=89

WRONG. Mummy cost 40 million. Expedition Everest cost 100 million. The most expensive ever. Doesn't anybody on here check their facts with the RCDB before posting these things?

The Dark knight is going to be put where Theater Royal is. My friend who works there is upset because if this goes through next year there will only be The Grand Music Hall for live shows. So if anyone cares about Royal I urge you to express your concerns to guest relations in the front of the park so that maybe they will put The Dark Knight somewhere else.

I have high hopes from Mr. Shapiro, and I'm sure that we wont be disapointed.

Dark Knight is back on the SF website. Nothing new, just the same stuff that was up there before.

I don't believe Shapiro would remove Whizzer. Besides Sprockets it's the only coaster for young children (aged 3-7) who don't want to ride AE, Viper Demon or Ragin Cajun yet.
Eh.......I got nothing.

^ If he is trying to make the parks more of a family environment, then I don't think we'll see Whizzer being removed any time soon. Whizzer is one of those few rides that isn't a kiddie coaster like Sprockets, but doesn't have any of the "thrills" of American Eagle or Viper.

When I was younger and made my first trip to Cedar Point I experienced my first dark ride. It was one of those things that set cedar point apart for me, it broadened its repertoire of coasters in a very fun and interesting way. Which is what SFGAm is doing, they want more entertainment, more amusement. That's why its an amusement park and not a coaster park.

I'm very excited for this ride! Batman and Joker?! C'mon you guys! Does nobody here understand that not only are we getting a Batman ride, the villain that we are going to be attacked by is JOKER! If this ride isn't fun, then somebody messed up royally.
I mean, how can this concept go wrong?

Dark Ride
Coaster
BATMAN

sounds like a winner to me.
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.

WRONG. I am not even going to bother arguing something I know is correct. The most expensive ride ever was Spiderman at Universal, btw.

If you look closely will notice the logo has changed for The Dark Knight Coaster. Now there is a shadow of a rollercoaster in the background. Also at the top of it is reads "Journey to Gotham it is darkest hour"

They also changed the first reason on the six reasons to buy a season pass page. It now says you get ert on it instead of being the first to ride it on May 21st. Also if you buy your pass during fright fest you get an extra 2 hour CAD on june 11.

1. NEW IN 2008 — THE DARK KNIGHT COASTER
Experience THE DARK KNIGHT Coaster in total darkness. Coming to Six Flags
Great America in 2008. Buy today and get exclusive ride time on May 21.*

* These rewards available only to Passholders who purchase and process a 2008 Season Pass by October 28, 2007. Plus, get a bonus COASTERS AFTER DARK on June 11, when the park stays open two hours late and the coasters are all yours — just for passholders who buy and process during Fright Fest '07.

Honestly why do we have to buy it before October 28? I usually get mine around Christmas time...

Hm... oh, I get it. So that there's not a swarm of people buying season passes the day of CAD and whatnot?

/\ It's just a marketing device. Get people to buy now and make sure that they can sell some. They just want to optimize the sales, but I won't be doing that. I will probably be down at WDW either working as an Imagineer or just visiting. :D

Yeah, I know that. I might attempt to buy a pass by that time but I don't know. I love how May 21st is the day after I graduate.
