Best Ride To Start your SFGAm Day

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Galvan on August 8th, 2003, 8:39 pm
Okay heres a question.. What ride do you get one first when you head into the park and start off your day? With me its usually Viper because the lines are virtually nonexistant... What is it for you?

I go to Superman right when the gates open so that I am at the front of the line. They usually open the ride before 10:00AM which allows me to get a ride on it and then go wait under one of the bridges. After SUF, I go to SWT or I go ride V2 and BTR.
My Top 5: 1)TTD, 2)Millennium Force, 3)Raptor, 4)Deja Vu, 5)Raging Bull

When I visit, I usually go to either Batman or V2.Nothing like a little Batman intensity or V2 adrenaline to start off the day!! :D
Finally Coaster Season!!

I usualy head to the most popular rides first ( Raging Bull, Deja Vu, and S:UF) or I try to beat the crowd and hit coasters in the back like AE or IW.

I always start my day with Batman. It's a nice short line for front row, then next a couple rides on V2 have short waits. Plus they are two coasters that really pump you up for the rest of the day.

I think that rides with huge lines in the middle of the day are good to ride as soon as you get there. (Raging Bull, DV, V2, Batman, S:UF)AE and Iron Wolf never have lines as long as the ones listed above, so I find those to not be good selections for your first ride.

Usually Raging Bull even though I'd rather start w/BTR because the line can get LONG later in the day. I can never get my friends to do that.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Iron wolf still not open until 11?

I go to Raging Bull front row, everytime. It's just my traditional way to start the day. Besides, I never have to wait for the front row on it throughout the day then.
