1. The music in the park will be the same as last year.
2. Triple Play, Sky Trek, and Revolution will be open in 2007 (We already knew that)
3. TrailBlazer will not operate in 2007
4. Flash Pass will be switched over to the Lo Que system (And will probably cost more )
5. American Eagle's entrance will be somewhere to the right of the tent (No exact details )
6. About 75% of Wiggles World will be under the tent. The rest will be in front of the tent.
7. Afternoon parade moving to the back of the park running from Fiddler's Fling to Hometown Park.
8. New show in the Grand Music Hall, "Great American Music"

In Order:
Kenywood-It all blurred togther it was early in the morning.
Six Flags Kentucky-Talked about Deludge, and the park in general...trying to get people to give them a second chance. They did place this awsome Corporate video that I wish I could my hands on.
Six Flags Great America-Talked about the Wiggles, also mentioned that there WILL be future press realeases about more to come this season. Talked about Operation Spy Girl. Grand Music Hall will hosting the first inhouse musical production since 1999! Let's see if they can outdo Marriotts. Pictoriumwill not be converted to 4-D, at least not this season. Marriott park music will not return this year, they will however, match songs according to theme areas. 2 Parades, afternoon parade will be in the back of the park, and night parade in normal location. Probably by the way they do it at Animal Kingdom, with prox switches in the ground that drive the cars.
Cedar Point/Geauga Lake-Nothing knew here. Talked about Maverik, removal of X-Flight, and Rengade.
Great America History-Steve Wilson(greatamericaparks.com) provided some awsome American Eagle footage to watch.
Dollywood-Went over their new mystery mine, and it kicks ass.
Did not pay much attention until Paramount's
Paramounts-"let's say hypothetically, there is a flying coaster comming to PKI, Let'ssay hypothetically it is sitting in my parking lot, le's say hypothetically there is lnd clearing by Flight of Fear. This is hypothetical, we shall find out Feb 5." Son of Beast's replacement for the loop has yet to be decided, the ride will open for the 07 season but not on time.
I'm happy that GAm finally converted to the Lo Que system. I thought they would be one of the firsts along with Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey (I know there are 5, but I can't think of the other 2) to recieve the upgrade.

Those switches are also at Magic Kingdom. They're very efficient if you use them to their full capabilities!

The Technical name for them are RFID pucks that are embedded in the asphalt. They can be installed by just cutting a small hole putting it in the asphalt and putting a patch over it. Very reliable and long lasting, but at the same time not cheap.
Cedar Point is going no smoking next year (w/ designated smoking areas).
IB is getting a brand new pirate themed ski show which sounds pretty neat. They also handed out DVD's and free tickets, which was very nice and appreciated. Sadly, the park will be losing their bumper boats this year. Also, the antique cars is getting a slightly new layout.
For those of you who have a SFGAm season pass with parking and visit SFKK, take note. You WILL pay ~$5 to park your car at SFKK as SFKK does not own the parking lot. HOWEVER, if you keep your receipt that they give you at the gate, and turn it in (I assume at a ticket booth or guest relations) and flash your "parking" season pass, the park will re-inburse you your $5. The GM, who was nice enough to stop on by, stated this. How unlike it is for SF to give away money! Big kudos go out to their GM or whoever thought of this excellent idea.
Adding the Lo Que system is a negative!!!!
Now offering a fastpass system that was FREE to all paying guests would be a positive move forward and would be more family friendly than gouging guests to pay to skip the lines when often rides arent run at full capacity.

Thank You!! I forgot what they were called and it was driving me crazy.

Great America's floats will not run with out the rails. If they are using one of the current floats for the day parade they will have to lay tracks. Otherwise they have to be getting new floats or it will only be a waking parade which would be dangerous for the costume characters and perfromers.
^ They are not going to put in more tracks. The parade will be different from the night parade. As far as a walking parade being dangerous for the costume characters, what is your logic? Don't they walk around all day anyway
The waliking rought of the parade usually has the characters in costume for 45 min to an hour. A standard walk in the park is 20 min. Twice the costume time in the heat is dangerous to their health as far as heat related injuries.
They said they are making new floats for the Parade or Rebuilding old ones to work without the track. Also, there is something new that has yet to be announced, he hinted it several times. I think it may be something to do with replacing trailblazer. One thing to note is that the Entertainment Budget is huge this year for SFGAM; Expect to see a lot more entertainment offerings.
The floats needed to be replace. They were hard to keep working as they regularly broak down and derailed. Plus, the paint was faded and the fiberglass was splitting.
Derailment was due to operator error. And the floats aren't terribly hard to work on, just time consuming and cramped. They use Electro-Drum braking which are fairly low maintenance.
The parade has really looked cheap in the past years..hopefully the new floats will look a lot nicer.

During the NCC Brian Plenchner, an unnamed individual and I all presented a Marriott's Great America tribute video which included the Great America sideshow along with an original American Eagle commercial and American Eagle Construction videos.
If anyone is interested the American Eagle Commercial can be found
