Will Hurricane Harbor's Admission Price Be Seperate From Great America's? Will SFKK Season Passes Be OK To Be Used There?

The Separate admission is something left for debate, but the SFKK season pass used at GA's HH isnt going to happen.

Our season pass for Great America looks like it will iinclude the waterpark because it is not a Premium Pass , so I believe that your SFKK card will work fine for our park.

Hope fully at the ACE No Coaster Con we should know for sure whether or not the park will be seperatly gated. It about two weeks way by then we should know for sure.

I was just making an assumption since I do not have Premium Pass

You know, instead of posting three seperate posts in a row that is just continuing what you were saying, you could have just edited the first post to include the rest of your thoughts.

Yes HH and GAM will be having different pricing. They even said it on the website at Six Flags. What is SFKK? :?:

Technop, learn to use the Edit button.

From what I can see on the Six Flags site, there isn't a seperate admission price for HH, and the season pass includes admission to it. That probably means you'd be able to use season passes from other parks to get in.

The Go Karts will not be moving. This was a rumor back in August but has since been proven false.

Hey Tech, don't diss people on other sites or they might just turn up to be regular posters on this site too.

It was my opinion, I DIDN'T cuss you out at all. My opinion is that the go carts will not be moving and splashwater falls will still be there next season. Hurricane Harbor isn't going to be another "territory" or they would be marketing it as such.

Actually, SfGadv's Hurricane Harbor IS seperate gated and not included in admission.

It wasn't a rumor. This was actually going to happen in the initial planning. The Go-karts were going to be moved where Splashwater Falls is and SF was to be removed.

It's looking very likely that HH will be part of park admission. So that means that people with other SF passes will be able to gain entry.

If thats true Chitown, the investors will want to rip them a new one.... They said the park would be profitable by 2006, and by not charging a seperate entrance fee, I don't see how they can recoup the $25 Million in one operating season.

This probably isn't true, but....

That comment about the park not being profitable until 2006 gave me an idea of what Six Flags may be up to. Maybe this is like a free trial, for the first year, like some places do when they come up with something new. Then, in 2006, it will charge a separate entrance fee. Just like my local recreation center, when it opened, for like the first 2 months you could go in there whenever you wanted for free, and then they charged a fee later.

Just my 2 cents, take it or leave it I guess.

And they probably wont by that time, but it's looking like they are going to increase the admission by $4 so with that and most likely a spike in attendance, I see them recovering the cost in the short term.
