B&M trains would be nice, but, I really don't care either way.

Nah, IW isn't rough at all. I think it's a great stand-up.

I think they should get B&M trains, but they don't need to because I feel Iron Wolf is fine the way it is.(As long as it is running with good wheels.)

Cove26Flags, you are a freaking genius.

And I don't mean that in a good way. What makes you assume that the trains are manufactured by Intamin? You got proof?

Whether or not IW gets new trains or new wheels, it at least needs a paint job.

I agree greatamerica2003

The trans were made by B&M, it is just the older style of stand up cars, intinam my of been the contractor for a couple of stand-up coasters, they did not designe the cars for the iron wolf or any other stand up coasters. G-tec disigned batman the escape, initname just contracted it.

Just to clear some stuff up, the current trains can be said to be part of B&M's "Intamin days". They aren't part of the "B&M days". I still think the ride is fine now, you just have to go on the ride with an open mind.

The trains we have now (regardless of who they are made by) are pretty discusting. I think they really need a refurb badly, but I wouldn't complain if they just put newer B&M trains on there either.

If they get the newer types of BM stand up trains then there are some other things that has to change. Like the wheels on the track. They would have to buy and mount the motors and wheels that they use on all the other BMs. I dont think it is worth it and I doubt they have the time.

I didn't say I knew everything, but the comment about the IW trains doesn't make sense.

If that train has wheels on it that have "B&M" cast into the wheel hubs, then it would lead me to believe that those trains were manufactured by B&M.

Those being Intamin trains doesn't make any sense.

I've ridden riddler's revenge. And B&M trains are like 50,000x better than our slow, stocky intamin trains

Well, in fact, the trains are Intamin. They were manufactured for B&M by Inatamin basically to help B&M with their first coaster. I vote for the B&M train.

Maybe this will help my statement.

Since Iron Wolf was "B&M's" 1st roller coaster, they used what they learned from Intamin to make Iron Wolf's trains. They are in fact "B&M" trains, but they are the style that Intamin used in their stand-up roller coasters. B&M then came up with a new design for stand up trains, like the ones seen on newer Stand-ups. ig Riddlers Revenge, Mantis, Chang, Georgia Scorcher.

The trains are Intamin....And GreatAmerica2003 your comment about the wheels saying B&M, most don't, most of them say Intamin. Also put into prespective that Iron wolf is not the standard B&M guage it is smaller than all other B&M's....The three rides with this guage are Iron Wolf, Vortex and Vortex. Theese three rides are the only B&M's without the up stop wheels touching. One more reason is remember when they had to put thenew harnesses in? Remember they where too big?

Wow...I hope that made sense.

Honestly, though who really cares who made the trains? If you think IW is too rough, then dont ride it. I think IW is a great ride. And i dont care for Stand-Ups much.

Well, ALL of the wheels on that ride say B&M. Don't argue with me, because they do.

And if they are Intamin style trains, then say so. Dont pass them off as Intamin if they are in fact manufactured my B&M.

My question still is, can you prove all of this? Nobody has offered significant proof.

All B&M did on Iron Wolf was design and was the general contractor...they manufactured squat.

Are your personal reasons because you are going to work at the park? If so ask Kyle how Curty feels about known posters get hired into the Operations department. Good luck getting in.

Hey all you who work there and post here. Management knows who you are, so don't expect to be rehired. One person that has posted in this topic, not naming (I know who you are and they should know who it is) works on Iron Wolf, and he should know whether they are Intamin or B&M, and let us know the truth. B&M did NOT manufacture the track, the trains and the supports. All B&M did was give instructions. So all of those who think they know everything, obviously you don't. So what if the wheels say B&M, they replace the wheels, the wheels are not the same wheels when the ride opened, so B&M could have manufactured new wheels. However, B&M DID NOT MAKE THE TRAINS, Intamin did.

Oh yea, I have had enough with some of you at this site. Some of you have no clue what you are ever talking about and just blab about the topic at hand with no knowledge. So don't expect any more information or corrections on any of your stupid posts anymore cause I am GONE.
