Where would we put that though? IF Six Flags where too pull the plug on Deja Vu, that would be the only spot id think to put a swat.... but what do i know?

All were getting next year is Hurricaine Harbor unless they randomly decide to add a flat in the middle of the winter. In 2006 I would expect a coaster if history continues maybe a large flat who knows.

Your getting more flats than you can ask for next year....Yes I consider water slides Flats. DejaVu is not going anywhere any time soon, Premier Parks being Premier will keep it untill it tears it self apart.

I Think they should add a SWAT type ride. Only I would put it in Southwest Territory over back by the Amphitheatre. Or possibly some other flat, that space might not be big enough for a flat the siz eof Swat.

SWAT would be cool. But be happy w/ what we got. Wait a while. 06 maybe will get some along w/ the rumored 4d (if they really do one).

I would say if we ever do get it, it should be put in a low attendance ride we have already (Trailblaizer, Hometown Fun Machine). If was possible to get that ride, I think that's a King Chaos or Swat type of ride. In other words, they are somewhat similiar, so I don't see a reason to get it.

I like flats just as much or even a little more than rollercoasters, so I'll give you my list of flats that would be great for the park.

2 Zippers (Chance, better older)
Typhoon/Orbitor/Predator (same ride) (Tivoli)
2 Scats
Another Bumper Cars
Super Sizzler (Wisdom)
Thunderbolt/(Another Hay Bailer) (Chance)
Freak Out (KMG)
Spin Out (KMG and Tivoli)
Tilt-A-Whirl (Sellner)
Dippin Drop/Spring Ride (Moser)
Scooby-Doo (Water ride in which you shoot targets)

Yeah, I really think SFGAm needs a Zipper. It would be a great addition for the park. I also like the idea of Tilt-A-Whirl.

why do we need a tilt-a-whirl when Fidlers Fling is almost exactly like one, minus the pain and speed

Yeah, however i think that six flags should look into getting new cars for the zipper, give you a free feeling, you know? I love the feeling of being locked up like a chicken in the chicken wire cage but some open cars would make it better.

Tha being said it is a good idea, but the cages are where the grab bars are, and it actually makes the ride safer. Maybe S&S Could modify the restraints to those of the Frequent Faller, but until then, the cars will remained caged.

EDIT: I have officially been a member for a year and one day! 8)

I think that they really need to do something wtih the restraint though, that bar can get quite uncomfortable.

I say they should get a dark ride and a KMG FuerBall. That would rock.
Candy: What you lookin' at?
Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama.
Candy: Yeah, you see something you like?
Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.

Zipper cages will likely never be open, clearances on that ride are just to tight to have people sticking their arms/legs out and having a mess of injuries to deal with. Chance did look into using Chaos cars, but they are about quadruple the weight of Zipper cages, and there was no way to design them into the ride and keep it on one trailer and road legal.

also a few notes on rides mentioned:

SWAT: it looks like a lot more than it is, it's quite a boring ride when you are actually on it, does look cool though.

Zippers are far to low capacity/slow loading to be useful in a park the size of SFGAm, also only one park model Zipper was ever made, I dont think it's offered as a prk model anymore. Also Zipper has some maintaince issues that would be a turn off to most parks.

Typhoon/Orbitor/Predator (same ride) (Tivoli)-huge quality, reliability issues along with it being "to intense" for the family crowd, also not offered in park model.
2 Scats- been out of production for decades, Hi-Lite rides makes their own version now, but they arent exactly known for great rides.
Another Bumper Cars-I think we just need new cars in our existing building.
Super Sizzler (Wisdom)-We already have Hometown Fun Machine, basically the same ride with a different drive (design/construction is far safer on the Eli Scrambler also)
Thunderbolt/(Another Hay Bailer) (Chance)- Out of Production last I heard, at least from Chance
Freak Out (KMG)- far, far to low of a capacity for a park, 16 riders is just not enough people per cycle. However if we didnt have Revolution a KMG/Chance-Morgan Revolution 32 would be a nice fit for SFGAm
Spin Out (KMG and Tivoli)- Maintaince nightmare due to an improper design, very costly to maintain, low capacity also.
Tilt-A-Whirl (Sellner)-Would work nicely in the kids area.
Dippin Drop/Spring Ride (Moser)- Moser Spring Tower it's called, and they are quite fun, I hope we get one instead of a standard FrogHopper at some point in the future.
Scooby-Doo (Water ride in which you shoot targets)- the water version at SFStL was an existing ride, pretty sure Sally doesnt offer dark boat rides, however any shoot em up dark ride would be a great fit at SFGAm (despite relatively low capacity)

KMG FuerBall- KMG Afterburner is nice, but still low capacity, the Chance-Morgan/KMG 32 seat model would be the best fit.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, bring on the Mondial rides :)

I thought Freak Out was a lot more fun than Revolution @ SFGAm. Mainly because I hate spinning on Revolution but I also believe that Freak Out gets much higher and gives you some great forces.
