Hey all, HUGE LAFF FAN here....just writing to see what everyone knows about this year's cast! I've been at GMH for almost every show so far, including buy outs! (Trust me, I have connections):) And I just love it more and more every time I see it! Does anyone have any information about the cast? Names, etc....I'm trying to create a cast list based off of who I know from previous years and this summer's shows....I'm a huge dork, I know....but what can I say? I LOVE LAFF;)
If you could pick anyone from previous years to play each role, what would your LAFF dream cast be? For me, this year is absolutely perfect. Anyone else share any thoughts on the topic?
Personally, I don't really know any of the actors/actresses from Love at First Fright. I've also yet to see this years show. I love it every year, though, and I'm sure this year will be no exception. Is this years cast similar to last years?
hi fellow fan.i love the show too.i haven't seen it as much as you though.this should help you out.the vampire is played by a man named david.if you went to ga over the summer you should recognize him as one of magician's james brandon assistants.he was also in the parade and preshow.he was also in it last year too.maybe even in earlier years.that i can't verify though.witchie(the redhead)played in the western revue at the snowshoe tavern last year w/josh.josh is the infamous jack.jack i here played none other then mr.bugs bunny at we got the beat this year at theater royale.i hope this helps out.i would be interrested to find out more also.perhaps we can all meet at one of the shows!
Mod Note: Please use proper spelling and grammar at all times.[/b]
Witchie, Drak, and the Hag type lady are all back from previous years. The only contact i've had with the cast is slapping Jacks Hand during "Everybody Rejoice" when they are sitting around the catwalk. Having a conversation with VAmpira during the Jamboree, and having a short conversation with witchie during the chase scene.
Finally! A topic about LAFF! I love this show so much, it has seriously been my favorite show since I was little! For sure Witchie and Dracula are the same as last year...and Bride for that matter....but I don't think that Hag is the same....and what is up with Frankenstein's unusually huge head?! I think the show is so much fun this year!
Keep up with the discussion here...it is great to hear from other fans of the show and to hear the gossip about the performers
Oh and LAFFJunkie....I agree....the cast this year is ROCKIN!!!
I think the show is pretty good, but they should change it already. They should keep the same characters, but have different scenes, and a different story. The same show has been running for 14 years (Don't quote me on the number.). The part I like (at least from last and many other years) are the bats (or creatures) singing above the stage.
OK, all I can tell you is that it's the same Dracula (aka David) and Vampira is Morgan from the James Brandon Magic show from the summer. I love LAFF too, have seen it eight times already this season, and I'll be there on Satruday to see it four or five more times. Also, I'm hangin out with one of Josh's friends, and I might get to meet him, so if I do, i'll update you guys and girls on that.
And I also agree, this season is the best and it is ROCKIN!!!!
I loved the bride of frankenstien last year, i thought she was one of the best singers ever, but this year, i really don't like the bride. I'm positive it isn't the same bride.
Witchie is the same as last year and she played Hag 2 years ago. Dave plays Dracula and hes been doing it for years but Im not sure how long. Like previously stated he was in the magic show as a dancer. Bride is the same as last year and she played Ghostina 2 years ago. Josh playes Jack. Like previously stated he played Bugs in We Got the Beat. Morgan plays Vampira. She was in the magic show. Also everyone besides Bride, Vampira, Kate, and Dracula was in We Got the Beat.
From what I heard, the guy who plays Frankenstien's name is Rodger. My friend Krystal's friend knows several of the cast members, and we're hanging out with her on Saturday, so if I keep my fingers crossed, I might get to meet a few of them who I haven't already met. I've already met David (Dracula) and Morgan (Vampira) through one of the magic show dancer's parents at the end of August.
I've got movies of LAFF in 95' and 96' that my mom took when I was younger and I recently have watched them and they are really good compared to these past years. (01', 02', and 03') I have been to Fright Fest three times and not one of the I visited the LAFF show is it better than last years?
the cast this year rocks to. its such a good show that there are days where my friend and i go up there just to see the show because our goal next year is to audition for it and possibly make it
