I call the employee parking lot the ride graveyard.

I am also a fan of SUF, but I too think it could have been much better.Never the less, the GP loves it, and the lines show it. Superman was the best thing they could have replaced Shockwave with.
Finally Coaster Season!!
This is not a rumor or a joke. SW wasnt completely scrapped. Rick Goff visited the park last fall to check on how things are going and to look at SW. He saw that it is in pretty good shape but some pieces were bad. What these pieces were I dont know. So anyways he scrapped the bad pieces and the good parts are in storage. He has been involved in trying to sell SW but it hasnt been a sucess. He is now looking into selling SW to Valleyfair! since they showed interest in it. Hopefully the deal goes through because Valleyfair! isnt too far.

I have a feeling what I just said is going to be deleted but Ill take my chances.

Since Coaster Alex0805- Lets say the park took down Iron Wolf. What do you think it would be replaced with? Iron Wolf isnt too big and it was put in the spot where Z-Force was which is a bit smaller.
Is this really true? Cause it sure didnt look like the entire ride was in the grave yard.

^ Trust me, Shock Wave is DEAD. All that remains are the trains (Yellow and Blue at SFMM, Red at SFGAdv). All of the track was chopped up and melted down last October/November.

Anyways, are the above post(s) stating that only half of Shockwave remains? If so, let's not start the "only the Shock part is going up in SFNO" rumor again. Even if they kept half and were planning to remanufactuer half, I thought Arrow doesn't manufactuer this track anymore.

If you really miss shockwave that much, go to SFGADV and ride GASM. It's as close as you're gunna get.

The only two things I find good about S:UF are the pretzel loop and the inline twist.

Is GASM as rough as Shockwave or is it more smoother?

Probably around the same roughness since they were only built a year apart and sw and gasm have pretty much the same layout.
