You can't get HIV from a toilet seat or from touching an infected person. You can't get HIV from being sneezed or coughed or spit on by an infected person. You can't get HIV from kissing (although there is a theoretical risk from very deep "French" kissing). You can't get HIV from a mosquito, flea, or tick bite.
Also to those that misread what I said and I quote... OK first off I agree this woman could have been on a chair if she needed to watch her other kid that bad.....Don't get me wrong I think this woman shouldn't have been in the water, but she was, no big deal.
Let me ask everyone this, Why should we herd our women off to some place private to feed their children? Most women that breasfeed in public do cover their child up with a blanket. The kid is eating in public, we eat in public do we not? I have seen many people eat that I would have liked to ask to eat someplace out of view from everyone else cause it was disgusting to watch. But we don't!
Iggy- who thinks it is OK to breastfeed in public.
P.S. the links provided are not to argue any point about HIV just a few to help educate those interested!!!!!!
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!

In that case, why have seprate bathrooms? Why have bathrooms at all then? Because as you stated earlier, its a natural thing. Well so is going to the bathroom, but i know for damn sure you'd have a problem with someone urinating on your feet.
Breast Feeding mothers are not being herded, they are given privacy. Privacy thats the same in the bathroom, When you are tending to your own business, im sure you dont have nor would want a captive audience.
Galvan- Who thinks breast feeding in public is obscene and shouldnt be allowed period. And thats why Six Flags gave private areas to Breast feed in the park.
If you want to have your wife breast feed, fine... just dont do it in front of 1000s of people. OR in the middle of a freaking waterpark.

I agree with Iggy on this one. I think its ok to breastfeed in public just not in a middle of a pool. Its not a safe place to feed a kid and I applaud Six Flags for telling her to go feed the kid elsewhere. If you guys think breastfeeding should be outlawed in the park at all, then that would mean they could outlaw people who spit and don't forget all disfigured people, people with ugly scars, and fat people from entering the waterpark at all. Can you imagine the uproar? Six Flags would go down in flames!
I don't really care either way if she were to breast feed or not. I think I'm more upset about the fact that she became mad at the park. They are only trying to do whats best for their patrons. Her and the thousands around....she should have just bit her lip and gone with it.
Every jumbled pile of person has a thinking part that wonders what the part that isn't thinking, isn't thinking of.
if she's so worried about her other kid then wait untill her husband can join them at the park and have HIM watch the other kid while she goes and feeds the baby!
