You do not get your coupon book till you go to the park. There will not be any Coke cans out yet, probably not till May. You can get print-and-go tickets from SF's website, they are cheaper there.

Speedway gas stations has the buy one get one free coupon with the purchase of 8 gallons of gas. With the price of gas, you will probably end up paying $20 for the extra ticket.

Unless, of course, you need the gas in the first place. If anyone's looking for cheap gas, the Speedway on the corner of Grand and Rte. 41 routinely has gas for much cheaper than surrounding stations, sometimes as much as .209 below the average for the area.

I've seen the commercial yesterday. It's nothing that special. They proclaim HH, show a couple out of state rollercoasters, and it ends with the Looney Tunes characters in the middle of Hometown Park.

I know some people might kill me for this, but they advertise too much about special events. I personally wouldn't get a season pass because of concerts, festivals, and various activities. They need to shove the rides in people's face (I know that's doesn't sound appetizing, but it's true.) instead of showing Mr. Six dancing to Fright Fest characters.

This way you might have people remember there past experiences, and might want them to come back.

Well believe it or not I noticed that people I know who aren't even coaster freaks like Mr Six and aren't sick of him like anything else that goes on a year so its a good idea.

They should promote the festivities so they can generate business to make those festivals better every year i.e. Fright Fest!

Are they offering a "upgrade any ticket to a seasonpass for $40" type deal like they were last year?

I did that last year with a coke can admission and got my pass for only $65. I'm hoping I can do that again this year.

I don't have a detonator; its on a timer.
A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.

I know it's a little late for the sake of this topic, but I thought I would point out that the coke can deal right now is for $15 off until May 30.

thanks for the full update.

I think this would be a good thread to put a sticky on and keep it updated with all the latest deals and promotion for Great America.

So far the best deal I see is the buy one get one free from speedway seems to be the best deal. Is there a speedway near Great America that I could pick one up at? Don't have any Speedways left near my area.

Has anyone seen any other buy one deals anywhere else?

ah there is a speedway there. Is that the gas station near McDonalds?

I'm always in such rush to the park to notice stuff like that. Only get to make it 4-5 times a year.
