i heard they coudn't afford the beads and theming, and plus, they have the whole Mardi Gras section, so it's always like a Mardi Gras party there.

The Mardi Gras festival (parade) wasn't too packed to begin with. They did it for the fact that it was new. If it was extremely popular, I bet you that they would keep doing it.

Yeah, I don't know why you would be receiving one in the mail. Did you request it?

Well in case you didn't read my other thread that I submitted I am even more jealous now because my fiance by "accident" threw away the coupons for the coupons book and my parking pass ticket. So I am sure that I will not have a coupon book this year. GRRRRR!

According to the marketing people I talked with last season the Mardi Gras deal was a one time thing just to call attention to the new rides and re-themed area in the park.

Look for some extra Carribean themed activities this season once HH opens.

I got my pass early and I didn't get a coupon book. Can you just ask Guest Relations for a new coupon book or not?

They've had Mardi Gras for a few years now(The fest not section). I've gone to it for at least two years. And I remember it being before that as well. So that's not true.

I don't mind not having Mardi Gras. I actually think its better...the park wont be so packed. The only fest I really enjoy is Fright Fest. I really only like that one out of em all. So I won't miss Mardi Gras too much. I am looking forward to seeing what kind of things they will do with Hurricane Harbor.

Celebrities often do come to the park, either for some kind of radio station bash or for their own pleasure. :D
