Demon Incident Highlighted on National Geographic Channel

National Geographic Channel highlighted the incident in a program called "Living Dangerously"

Basically it told the story of a family that was trapped on the ride when it was stuck in the loop.

They went on to explain how fire fighters saved the riders while the ride was stuck upside down.


Also mentioned that the particular family who sued Six Flags lost thier lawsuit.

I saw something today on Real TV on Spike Channel that had something about the Demon accident also. It was pretty interesting. They also had on a woman who was stuck for over 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Deja vu was in the news in 2002 for getting stuck at the bottom of the loop they had to get everyone out of the ride.

I remember when the Demon incident happened... I had gone to Six Flags the day before and rode Demon 2 or 3 times so it pretty much freaked me out. I was in my room and I just heard my mom calling me and calling me from the front room because she was watching it on the news.

Demon did NOT get stuck up-side down last year, it did get stuck on the lift hill like 4 times, that is about it.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Demon did get stuck last year j/k. Anyways, I remember the Demon incident and maybe it's a little over talked about. Granted, I've never been stuck on a loop before so maybe i'm a little unaware of it.

LOL, everytime we go to Great America, my one friend always says, "Remember last year when we were here and got stuck upside down on Demon?" I gave up trying to correct her, and just agree with her now.

I happen to know what it is like to get stuck on a loop. It is not fun at all. I got stuck on Greezed Lightnin' at PGA before it was moved to the Parking Area of SFMW. It was for 5 minutes and with only a lap bar, my neck almost sprained in that short period of time. Scary stuff, nothing to be joked about.
