Employement @ SFGAm

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Hello,

I'm looking at different parks to work at for the 2006 season, and Six Flags Great America is one of the park's I'm looking at. Can anyone answer these questions for me:

1) What is the employee housing like?
2) What age do you have to be to work as a ride operator?
3) Is there any transportation to get you into downtown Chicago or up into Wisconsin?

Thanks,

To be a ride operator, you must be 16 years old. I'm not sure about the other two though.

1. Employee Housing is at Carthage College and at UW-Parkside, both in Kenosha. The housing at Carthage is in dorms, and at apartment-style housing at UW-P

2. 16 years old is the minumum age for Ride Operators

3. There is a bus program to and from the park for your housing. It's better though if you make some freinds who have cars and live in the area. There is easy transportation to downtown Chicago via the Metra commuter rail service. Trains leave and depart from stations in Kenosha, Zion and Waukegan.

I don't think that they offer housing for anyone under 18 years of age though, because of being a minor and all.

See, that would be my main problem, is that I'll be 17 when I graduate from high school. Do you know of an e-mail address I can contact anyone up there with to ask some of the employer-side questions?

You're best bet would be to call the park at (847) 249-4636.

Go to your local gas station, Walmart, grocery store, or where ever and buy a calling card.

Wow, it switched from Housing to CINGULAR!! i have cingular

39.99 450 Anytime (with rollover) 5,000 Night/Weekends

Current Unused Rollover: 1,129 Plus the 450 i get every month

so i virtually have unlimited minutes because i never go over

plus i get 1,000 text messages for 9.99

anyway. i was gonna go to the SF job fair. but never did. i wish i would have i so wanna work there. is the rent to live at parkside (as a SF worker) cheaper then what STUDENTS pay? because my friend pays 2,000 a semester to stay in just the dorms...... lol

that would be awsome to be housed at the parkside apartments. my friend lives in the parkside dorms
