Yup! Already have! One crappy thing about the Six Flags commercials. Ok, they are advertising Six Flags Great America right? But all they show is Six Flags Magic Mountain! Its really ....es me off! Why cant we have our own commercial for once![/u]
well think about it SF owns over 20 parks, and the cost of shipping the production crew to all of them is highly un-likely. and they only have 1-6 months to get to all of them.
I was watching an old commercial about a week ago on one of my tapes, and it had SFGAm rides in it (Viper, Train, Shockwave, Demon, BTR?). The new ride was Raging Bull for the season. They had a guy with a guitar singing, "It's Six Flags Great America..." I forgot the rest. If I remember which tape it was, I'll watch it again and tell you the rest of the song.
I havn't seen this years commercial, but last years commercial they were still at SFGAm because you can see the fountain in the middle with RB in the background. They just showed different rides.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
i've only seen it on the website. I remember last year seeing that commerical nonstop during the weeks before opening day. what's goin on six flags people!
I just saw the last part of the SFGAm commercial with the characters standing in the middle of Hometown Square.
The problem I see with the commercials is that they aren't advertising the newer stuff. I forgot whether or not they say the name of the new rides, but pictures are worth a thousand words. I also think they marketed Mardi Gras area wrong. KC (especially) and RC are not just for families. JWR and BEB are more family rides. That's a different story though.
Instead, they are more forcused on Mr. Six. I asked three people if they knew about last years new rides, and they told me no. I also don't think that these commercials shouldn't really air too far in advance because a) people might think that the park may be open now and b) people forget about it (It's not open, so the commercial is doing nothing.)
Since the park is opening the 30th to the public, they should air the commercials starting the week of the 30th. So, they should start on the 25th. That should be a Monday.

Six Flags is trying to replace the Looney Toons image with the Mr. Six image, which is great, but in my opinion they should incorporate both into one commercial.

I know what you're reffering to, I liked those commercials. "Six Flags Great America, where the fun (somthing somthing) I was happy to see sfgam in a commercial.
Side Note: Does anyone know what coaster that is at the end of the commercial with the curved drop? That looks nice.
