Premier and Arrow are two different companies making two different coasters. to retrofit Demon with lapbars would be costly when not many people complain. with Premier's coasters, though, tons of people did complain and the parks were forced to retrofit.
and there is a way to ride Demon without much headbanging.

A countdown timer?
No, a count-up timer. It goes from one to explode.
Think of the G's you get going through that second loop. If you were to accidently bend over before entering the loop and you didn't have to restrait to stop you it might hurt somebodies back. I think demon could use more comfortable trains, but not lap bars.

I wouldn't take a chance with Demon because of the accident (in the loop). I don't think the park would take a chance. I agree that lapbars are better. For Mindbender they work fine (SFOG), but I can't trust them for Demon. Premier's go so fast that it almost seems pointless to have an over the head restraint.
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
oh, I've been too tall for all of Arrow's OTSR's for a long time. what you can do is sit in the front seat of a car and sorta slouch down in the seat so that your back isn't flat against the back of the seat. your butt'll probably only be half on the seat, but its not as uncomfortable as it sounds. it is certaintly more preferable to having the restraint crush your collar bones (which is what happens to me if I try to sit up on Demon).
