So who here gets to go to Sfgam for school-related things?
This year I get to go to Six Flags for graduation (We go during a school day so the park is really empty), and I also get to go to Six Flags for an orchestra competition. The thing is I get to go to the contest but then the next day we go to Six Flags and find out who wins. This year track conference is the same day as we go to Six Flags so I have to miss this. But I don't really care seeing as I'll probably get a season pass and we go to the park on a saturday.
We do this Six Flags thing every other year so two years ago when we did it, we won. It was sweet. But I didn't get to go to the day where we go to Six Flags either because I had something else that day.
The only Six Flags related trip my school is holding is going to be on Physics Day when people who sold over 6 boxes of chocolate get to go.(They don't have to do any worksheets.) Otherwise, my school wouldn't dare send us there for the heck of it.

my school goes for a reward in the middle of may every year for 'All Stars' Its awsome cause half of us get outta school and we're the only ones there i dont even know when im going though
Um, I went in 2002 for my Middle school graduation. I suppose the physics classes are going this year but I see no reason why I'd even go if I was in Physics....

I went for trills and thrills one year. In eight grade I went with my chorus to some competition (Which we always owned in) and then spent the rest of the day at GAm, but it was really crowded, even though it was a school day. But the eighth grade Jazz Band and Chorus always go.
Do you guys remember papas? On his old website there was a picture of the S:UF line that said "Lots and Lots of School Groups"...And I'm in that picture...with a school group! I thought that was kind of funny.
In '94 we went to SFSTL for our 8th grade class trip. The best part was that we left a girl behind. The teacher screwed up the head count and we were almost to Litchfield (halfway home), before we realized she wasn't on the bus. By that time her parents had already left to go down and get her.
The teacher didn't even get in trouble, the incident was blamed on an unruly class. Every trip our class took from that point on (including Sr. trip in '98 ) ended with us getting back on the bus and someone always asking the same question " Where's Tiffany?"
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
