Fright Fest Themes

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I was just thinking about the Chubasco during Fright Fest (music, the dark, and lights), and my suggestion would be for them to have it all year round except maybe with other songs too besides the one they play now. If it's such a hit during Fright Fest, I don't see why not have it all year.

You can take a look at the Am Eagle. SF did the backwards blue only for FF, and now it's done every year. My opinion is that "party rides" are usually more fun for everyone. The ride might be terrible, but people will still go on them. My example is a carnival ride by the name of the Himalaya. The carnival worker puts on the music, flashing strobes, lights around the ride, (bubbles, fog machine, or snow), and it becomes a ride that people want to go on.

I can also take a look at the ride at SFOG (which is new), that is a Scrambler. This ride does the same thing all year round that Chubasco does except with Rock-n-Roll music. That ride was crowded even though the park wasn't that crowded. Again, the only thing I see that they should change is having only one song.

They probally just want to do it during Fright Fest so then it doesn't get old. If it was to be done the whole year then after one season it will be old and no one will care about it anymore, by having it only during Fright Fest it doesn't get old and stale because it is only like that for one month and year after year people will want to still ride it.

I would not mind. I enjoy "terror Twister" very much, and after my experience at FF this past season, I am never going again.
Ugh.

I like the rides, but I dont like FF. It was too cold, too crowded, and it was not worth the drive. (Luckily I got to got to Gurnee Mills and that made it worth the drive)

And no, I did not get sick. I don't get sick on rides. I get injured on rides, (Like when riding with my little bro on Fideler's Fling) but not sick.
Ugh.

I had to ride in a car for 10 hours to get to Gam the day before! Thank goodness there was Gurnee Mills, though. (I had never been there previously)

Since this is one of the most recent Fright Fest threads, I thought I would post this here. They updated the character list on the Jpm website as seen here- http://www.jpmproductions.com/sfga02.html

It now has the Draken Warrior puppets with trolls, rodeo clowns in SWT, clowns in Sleepy Hollow 3d(Mardi Gras will still have evil clowns), as earlier mentioned there are pirates, too. They also have the side show carnies in Necropolis as stated before.

I really hate the rodeo clowns, I miss Marshall killin and Sadie, and the drunk bandito, and black Bart! :(
I'm happy about the pirates though, But' ve known about those since january so I've lost hte excitement for them.
Other then the rodeo clowns and the re-naming of hte Sleepy hollow characters, they only took out the characters from Carousel. I wonder what they'll do with the refection pond stage this season.
