From what I remember at No Coaster Con Ron Sevart said the park wasnt going to have another circus. The park needs to put in a new show besides a circus year after year. I wonder how good the circus will be in the Grand Music Hall.
I would think the park would have figured out what to put in the Southwest Ampitheater by now. I hope its something good if its taking this long to announce it. I hope its a Batman stunt show. It would make sense to have one since the new movie is coming out.

*Binks starts choking* Uhhhh...no...Besides I think circuses (circus's, circi? What's the plurul of circus?) are kind of creepy... Clowns Eek *Binks runs and hide from the evil clowns*
That was really random wasn't it, I should re-think this post.
Oh my gosh I can't wait until Joyfest. Point of Grace...wow. I haven't ever seen them in concert. They are one of my favorite christian musical artists. I've never heard of Javon Ladik though. Who is he uh or she? Does anyone know?
Wow Point of Grace, Needless to say I am extremely disappointed. If there goal was to get kids/ youth groups to the park that day Point of Grace will not do it. I guess I am disappointed because of a couple of days ago the Christian concert web sites had Third Day playing Joyfest. We get totally ripped off when it comes to our Christian music event. Look at what some of the other parks have this year and we get Point of Grace. It is not that their music is Bad it just will not bring in the kids. With that said I will still probably be there that day.
Here is A few that I found to compair with.
Six Flags St. Louis –Newsboys, FFH, Third Day
Six Flags over Texas - Audio Adreneline, Toby Mac, KJ-52, and Hawk Nelson, Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, Monk & Neagle, and The Afters
Six Flags Astroworld – MercyMe, Jeremy Camp, Audio Adrenaline, and Toby Mac
Six Flags New Orleans – Pillar and Kutless
Six Flags Over Georgia- FFH, Matthew West, Anthony Evans, Jars of Clay, Day of Fire, Mute Math, Pillar, and Relient K.
Six Flags America - Kutless, BarlowGirl, and Stellar Kart.

I really do not care about those festivals, it just makes the park more crowded when i go, I dont go those days to go see them play, I go to ride the rides. So it really doesnt matter to me, but it may matter to some other people.
Universal Orlando Mechanical Engineer Marathon down, Goofy to go.

I agree. Ive never bothered to figure out what Joy Fest is about for some reason. Is the point of Joy Fest just to have christian bands play or what?
Six Flags Over Georgia got the best end of the deal.
The only events I've really ever been to are Mardi Gras and Fright Fest. I don't plan my trips around any event except for Fright Fest. I MIGHT check out Joyfest this year.

In my opinion, Point of Grace is the best out of all of them. However, I wouldn't mind seeing Audio Adrenaline again, FFH, BarlowGirls again, or Newsboys. Too bad none of the parks have Avalon, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, or Mark Shultz.
I havn't been to Joyfest before because of the bands last year, but my guess is that is just a free concert with Christian artists. I really hope that people go to Joyfest, so they will continue to have it.
Someone said something about gay day. I think SFGAm has a day, but it doesn't really matter to me what day it is. I would still go no matter what.

Actually the true reason they have Joyfest is so they can market the day to church youth groups and bring in some $$$. They will be geting some people who probally would not be making a trip to Great America with a family and too young to get in a car and go. The band is the only differance between joyfest and any other day. My guess is that if you went and did not know it was joyfest, you could spend the whole day there and not even know.
Even last years band Relient K just played their songs they did not even mention God which is very odd for a Christian band. Not that you could of heard it anyways their sound was horrible.
