Bleacher’s Sports Grill, New Restaurant at SFGAM

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I am not sure if Bleacher’s Sports Grill is a new Food Stand/restaurant at SFGAM but it is on the group order form. I have never seen this restaurant and it’s not the park map.

Maybe it's going to be moving into the AE tent?

Bleachers Sports Grill is listed under food in the County Fair section of the 1992-1995 park guides. Starting with the 1996 park guide Great America only shows a partial listing: Farmer's Market, Wascals and Funnel Cake Foundry.

Pretty sure that has been the name of the food stand under the Eagle tent for the past couple of years. At least I can picture that graphic inthe window of that food stand, and I know it is somewhat sports themed. Would be my best guess. (also probably the park's largest eating area that's under cover outside of hte picnic grove, would make sense for groups)

They tore out the last of the TV's in that eating area I think in 2003 (which really sucks, as they always showed various sports games at the same time)

Sure Bleachers didn't show up on the park maps, but it's always been there as long as I can remember. I think you're right. They should move the hot dogs and beef-n'cheddar's to Wascals and make something inside which isn't sold anywhere else in the park, nor kept in the freezer overnight. It's a unique meal or snack which is made from scratch, like the fries at Fiesta's.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

It's just like any other fast food place at Six Flags. They have hot dogs, fries, sodas and that stuff.

The Beef n Chedder place and the Turkey Leg places are the best.
