GAm 2005 Hours Posted!

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby SFGAMkid on January 27th, 2005, 5:13 pm
I just looked at the Gam website today and they have the hours posted! Pretty much the same as last year, with the expection of August. I believe this is one in many years that Great America has opened later than 10am for normal season. They open at 11am the last week and a half of August. At least they are open!!!

Yep, the only big changes are those weird 11-7 days which close off the end of August and beginning of September weekdays. Then the other "good" change is the one that makes the Sundays during Fright Fest an hour longer(10-9 instead of 10-8.)

Ah, I JUST looked at the site and came right on here to post about it, but someone beat me to it. :P I like the idea of 11-7 at the end of August, weird hours but that gives me an extra day to get to SFGAm, since this year shcool starts in September or something.

Yeah, 11-7 is fine because the park was always closed that last week of August in recent years anyways, so 11-7 is pretty much a gift.

Yes, I definitely agree with you SfGaMownz. It's definitely a gift, and I'm glad SFGAm decided to do that.

I love the idea of a 11-7 day. Much better than that old 10-6 crap.

For me...I'm just happy that their open. I don't care if it's 10-6 or 11-7,
just as long as they are open.

Yeah, probably. I'm excited about going on one or two of those days, because I most likely won't be starting school until very early September or the very last week of August.

Yeah, the new hours are gonna be great. Even if the park is empty 11-7 arent enough hours! I need to spend as much time at SFGAM as possible. Plus I get my lisense in about a week so I can take myself!

I know that buddy, I just hate waking up that early.

As dumb as I may appear, I know how to add, subtract, and have the knowledge not to make a useless poll.

I much perfer the 10am-6pm hours. People are often too lazy to get to the park early so i benefit from that fact and often you get alot done the frist few hours the park is open.
