What day does SFGAm open?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

If I remember, Chrysler Day was near the end of the season right?
If it was, that would explain that almost everything was open.

The Advocate Healthcare buy out is always before the season, and
in my recollection, not much was open, in the way of food and shopping.
I've gone to 2 of them and that's what I remember. The karaoke place
(which, might I add, is the worst thing at Six Flags. AHHHH. As a musician
it drives me nuts to go past there) was open both years.

But, I never care. I don't eat inside the park nor do I buy stuff at the park,
so it doesn't matter to me if things are open or not. Just as long as the
coasters are running.

That was 5 posts ago. I have given up on this topic because of people like you who think they are right and every one else must be wrong. advocate buy out is a lot different from the com ed one.
Was stupid, got banned. Created a new name and admited I was a person who got banned....so I got banned again.

Ive been to multiple buy outs before at the park (Once for Coke, twice for some company that makes allergy drugs, and once for something I dont remember) and of those 4 times, never were many shops/games/foodstands open. A few major restaurants were, and every few snack stands were, and that was it. Few of the big shops were open, no games were open from what I remember except the arcades. Only the more popular flats operated as well.

And these were various times during the season (Coke was during the downtime between regular season + fright fest, drug company was before season began, and the other company was mid-season sometime)

Anyways, I am sure if one of you really wanted to know how things were handled you could call the park up and ask :p

Ron Sevart, the new GM at SFGAm, spoke at Ace No Coaster Con today and confirmed that it will be April 30.

They're going to announce pricing and an opening date for Hurricane Harbor very soon.

The only thing they announced that we didn't already know was that they are painting Deja Vu.

Ron Severt did not say that, Michelle Hoffman (PR Manager) said that.
