The Problem is that Hurricane Harbor passes are only valid at the park they are purchased at, it has been that way every the started making them, and i dont think SF will make an exception for this one.

AND THEY ARE SEPRATE GATE!!! so you cant sneek acoss to HH from GA
Did you just contradict yourself? Well, I guess we will all know after New Years whether or not it is seperate gated or not, but I'm still puzzled as to why the gates were removed from the concept art at the park. Huh!

No!!

I Said even though the parks are seprate gate you still get entry to both if you buy a regular ticked or a SFGAm Season pass.

So if people buy them later and dont get hurricane harbor free? how do they get into the park? if there isnt a seperate gate, your telling me people will have to pay to get into the park? and then into hurricane harbor? thats bogus, i guess we will just have to wait and see

i said they were seprate gate. and if you buy general admission to SFGAm you will get hurricane harbor as well

Knowing SF it was just a sceem to get people to buy season passes now, besides how would the computers be able to tell if you bought the pass when HH was included to when (or if) it wasnt included.

You know how many times that deal has been extended
first it was october 31st
now its dec 31
and i wouldnt be suprised if it lasts to the end of 2005

Sorry to burst your bubble, but having that information in a computer is VERY easy. It takes 1 field of information with a 1 or a 0 in it to tell if access is granted.

Another factor is the cost/investment factor. Six Flags has stated that HH will turn a profit for 2006, now for me the only feesable way to turn a profit from the park will be to charge a seperate admission.

And as to why SF is giving away the HH with the season passes right now, could it be so that when you go and take a friend and you then decide to go to the waterpark which cost you nothing, your friend then pays for admission because they don't wish to be left out. Or even the fact that Six Flags wants people to be able to come to the park ASAP and get a good word out for them. At this point Six Flags needs all the good news it can get.

But as to if its going to end up being a seperate or same gate the answer is nobody fully knows for sure, we have to wait until ticket prices are released for next year or SFGAm makes an announcement regarding prices.

Until then if we can't talk nicely I will close this thread down, so play nice.

I do know the companies that buy tickets can use those tickets
for either HH or GA. The company that I currently work for is also
a church, and every year they have a huge 8 day retreat. During the
retreat they spend a day at Six Flags.

Well, a few weeks ago, I gave them the idea to get both tickets to GA
and HH, so that people have a choice of what ticket they want to buy.
When I gave them the idea, they called Six Flags, and Six Flags told
them that the regular ticket's that they buy will get the people into both
parks. So they don't have to buy seperate tickets for both.

So, it looks like 1 ticket, 1 amount, 2 parks. BUT, you can buy the
regular ticket, but you can't get into both parks in 1 day. What ever
park you go into with that ticket, thats what the ticket will go for and
that's where the profit will go into. Not into both.

Thus, making them seperate parks, seperate admission and seperate
gates, even though it's 1 ticket, 1 price. I hope you understand my
thoughts! I do think that it is pointless to worry about it though. I got
my 2005 pass for both, so I could really care less. I'm just ready for
it to be the 2005 season.

There will be a separate Gate to get into the Water Park so that if you just want to go to the water park you can go directly from the parking lot to the water park. As for tickets, who know what they are going to do.

Holy cow this is hands down the most confusing thread I've ever tried to read. Everyone's contradicting everyone and no one really knows whats going on.

I have my combo pass that I bought before the end of last season, yellow with the fantastic Mr. Six on it.

I remember seeing someone mention that you can just walk up to the pass place and get coupons. Is this right? I usually get my pass at the beginning of the season when they have the books already....
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.
