Post subject: Rumor - Hurricane Harbor Being Part of Six Flags?
IM SO SORRY IF THERE WAS ALREADY A TOPIC ON THIS. i didnt notice the hurricane harbor thread till after i posted this
So as far as i was told by a serurity Officer for SF that shops at the store i work at.
Hurricane Harbor will NO LONGER be a seperate gate PARK.
Here is what i know (and i trust her because she is one of the head Security People)
1. Hurricane Harbor will be an Addition to Six Flags Park with 1 or 2 paths leading to it. (similar to how you have to take a path to get into southwest)
2. They are moving Splash Water Falls into Hurricane Harbor.
3. Moving the Go Carts to were Splash water was.
4. Between Imax theater and Space Shuttle will be 1 of the access points into Hurricane Harbor
This means. Hurricane Harbor is not Seperate Admission. Its just another part of the PARK.
which is awsome.
P.S. Even though Hurricane Harbor is just gonna be a addition to the park. IT WILL have operating days. like say memorial day to labor day. so that part of the park will not be open year around OF COURSE. lol.
THE 2005 Park map should show1 or 2 paths leading to the right of the current map. and show hurricane harbor to the right of the park

Thats good that we don't have to pay 2 entry fees to get into gam and hh. This rumour was from another SFGAM fansite

Go Karts and SWF are not moving. That'd be stupid to move it to rebuild it in another location not that far away.
As far as the park admission its looking like it will be included, but that is still up in the air. Guards usually don't know diddly squat about things like this. They are rent-a-cops, they have nothing to do with decision making.
Are you sure, this is very improtant. If not, we'll get our season passes from sfgam instead of sfkk, they're cheaper at sfkk and we get them on spring break in april.
I think that we are forgetting that Rumors are not allowed here. Just because some other site is reporting this does not mean it's true. I've seen no evidence of this at all. If this was true then why don't we see ANY evidence on the webcam, and why does the Hurricane Harbor map show no evidence of splashwater falls in it?
maybe splashwater wont move. but the rumor has some truth. it explains why they re-did the hurricane harbor map that was in the preview CENTER showing The entrance plaza REMOVED. (yes the picture from the Hurricane harbor website shows one)(but the updated picture at the end of the season at the six flags hurricane harbor preview center shows it removed) it also explains why they changed pricing to include hurricane harbor. if a 1 day ticket gets you into hurricane harbor. whats the point of a seperate entrance. it would be easier to just have connection pathways leading into that area from inside the park. rather then people who want to hop back and forth between parks.
ALSO. if people want to visit both parks through out the day. WONT the handstamp wash off? will they switch to reentry ristbands or something? just a thought
thats just my theory. you may beg to differ if you like
but what ever
P.S. ok say there is a seperate entrance plaze but 1 fee gets you both parks. will there still also be pathways leading in there from inside the park? kinda pointless to make people exit 1 park to enter another if its all 1 fee gets all

She may have found out by one of the employees who work there. She doesn't have to know anything. If she doesn't know and she found out herself, then ok she found out her self! Plus i like what technob said about the 1 pricing deal thingy.

I was trying to tell the guy he was wrong, but he kept on telling me i was wrong. and that security know EVERYTHING
Security is told NOTHING about park improvments, the know just as much as we do about park stuff, all they do is let people in to the construction and yell at us.
Besides once construction has started you cant go changing planes, and designes. Its just not possible.
Why cant you make changes during construction. its very possible. people do it all the time. its not that hard to say. ok instead of putting in an entrance plaza DONT. its not that hard to change
First of all, wasn't this technop who posted this on the site already? It's funny how things are posted on one site, posted by the same person on another, then it ends up on the original site from a different person. Man!
This security guard that everyone has been talking about has changed her mind many times it seems. First technop reported that this security guard said that Hurricane Harbor would be seperate admission, and that was that. Then recently this security guard says that it is included with the main park. Hmmmmmmmm.......
From what I have gathered through many different people:
1. Hurricane Harbor will be included in SfGam park admission and some form of connection will be used to connect the two parks together.(See SfStl).
2. Splashwater Falls and the Go-Carts will not be moved or removed.
3. SfGam admission will be raising.

The Hurricane Harbor map has always been the same in the Preview Center. It never changed. If you looked at the map you would see that it has an Entrance plaza, (You may have not noticed it but it was there the whole entire time.) I visited the Preview center Every time I went to SFGAM and the last time I went to SFGAM was Oct. 30th.
As for the Path there will be a path between the parks. It was on the map at the Preview Center. According to the Information I got. It will go in-between the Go Carts and SSA.
