Is Waukegen Tollway the Illinois/Wisconsin Border Tollway?
Cause if so, starting Jan 1. that toll will be $1.50 for Non- I-Pass users and .75 for I-Pass users

Yes, and that fully explains it.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

Its referred to as the "Tri-State Tollway" I-94 would be the route number and the toll plaza we come in contact with between the Grand Ave. exit and the Wisconsin border is Waukegan Plaza #21
Love the signature Mr. DT. Only a select few of use know where its from.

If you are coming to SFGAm from Wisconsin, instead of getting on I-94 in Illinois, take the left ramp onto Rte 41 (signs say Waukegan).
Make a right on Wadsworth Rd, then left on Dilleys which will take you right up to Grand Ave. by the McDonalds that is near the park.
Presto, no $1.50 toll.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Yeah, I use that back route every time I go... Doesn't take much longer either, and it's a good way to save a bit of change.

You can also just take 41 to Grand and make a right then take that down to the entrance.. either one works.
Or if you know where Sheridan road or 131 (Greenbay Rd) is you can take those all the way down and make a right on to grand..

It's the tri-state tollway, which goes from I-94 there to I-80,I-294 near the Indiana border giving it the "tri state" name.

Rte 41 to Grand Ave. takes you way out of the way. No point in using that route.
Sheridan Rd. and Greenbay road are filled with traffic lights.
The route I mentioned is the most direct route to avoid tolls.
