So don't freaking go to the haunted houses then! Why come on here and whine and complain? I can tell you that I have been to Fright Fest 4 times so far and gone thru the haunted houses 2 times. So obviously they are doing something right to make us want to go thru a 2nd time and then tomorrow I'll be going thru a 3rd time. Not one complaint from me. Keep up the good work guys and girls. Speaking of which in Maus over by where Jason is there was some really freaky girl that scared the living daylights out of me!! I didn't really look at her because I was too chicken and I have learned that if you look at them and they see the fear in your eyes you are toast! She followed me anyways. That was the night that they were ALL picking on me! For a second there I lost touch with reality and forgot that it was just a haunted house. I started freaking. I'm such a baby

Quick Question to do with Fright Fest because new topics are not wanted: I have Kentucky Kingdom season passes. Could I use them to get into the park during Fright Fest? My family and I are heading up there Thursday, and we want to go Friday and Saturday. I think you would be able to, it doen't say, "Will not work during Fright Fest of other parks except this one" I have not looked in a long time, so I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.

I have a Kentucky Kingdom season pass and I've already been to Fright Fest this year, so it'll work.
Bob O wrote:There is no reason at all that SFGAM couldnt pick up the cost from jpm to put on the haunted houses that they do without soaking the guests. As for paying extra, i would be happy to pay the full admission price(and not allow season passholders free entry) if the park put on the quality and quantity of haunted houses/mazes that parks like BGT/Knotts give to there guests, and these houses DONT require any extra upcharge fee's. If SFMM can offer 6 mazes with the price of admission then there is no reason SFGAM couldnt offer a single haunted house/maze without making the guests pay for it.
Here is what you dont understand, SFMM puts the Haunted Houses, and MAzes and stuff together THEMSELFS, SFGA however Hires an outside COMPANY to put together the HAUNTED HOUSES AND STUFF. So SFMM doesnt need to charge Guests, because SFMM's General Manager Budgets there money and Puts aside a "Fright Fest Budget" so there is no need to charge GUests "HINT HINT SFGA, STOP HIRING AN OUTSIDE COMPANY OR PICK UP THE TAB"

Well, I had thought this was an intelligent post until the last statement.
If that is what you really want, go to the other parks first (read the post about SFSTL and their monsters and attractions). This is why SFGAM hires an outside company. The haunted houses are not SFGAM haunted houses they are put on by JPM. You don't have to go in...
There is no tab to pick up.
Man! Look at the effort that goes into making people happy then re-read your post. It's incredible how ignorant people really are.
Most people go to the park, enjoy themselves, enjoy the scenery; then there are those that go just to be an idiot and complain about every little thing that THEY don't like!

Well, this is a good precursor to the offseason complaining that the park is only building a stupid water park, and not getting Kingda Ka, a water coaster, four new flat rides, a new food court and five million other things that most of the people on here claim that they *have* to get.
Then, when the park opens with whatever they end up with (this year, the water park) these same people will complain that ticket prices are too high, food prices are too high and parking prices are too high. If they don't build at least a $35 million attraction addition in 2006, people on here will complain that the park is being cheap and stupid and that they won't go back.
It would be a lot more interesting to read these posts if people didn't just sit around and complain about the park constantly. I think that some of you should go to some of these other parks and you might get a perspective on how much better SFGAm is. Visit Magic Mountain and the mazes might be free, but they are packed. And only half the rides are running. Out of their record-breaking number of coasters, I have never been on four of them. In six visits. In different parts of the year. I've never had that problem with any of Great America's rides.
I'll take a well-functioning park with optional haunted houses any day then one with some free stuff but no rides working. I can pay less money to visit another haunted house without the rides...
Why do people that complain so much feel that they should post about the park constantly? If Great America is so bad, you should find another park you like more to talk about. Or another hobby.
... on the other hand there are people who are over joyed when walking through necrpoplis because any where eles it would have been a "haunted attraction" and they would have had to pay to get in... i have people coming through all the time like "wow is this the haunted house? i thought that you have to pay to get in" they are amazed to find out that necropolis is just a warm up and are happy to pay the 7$ (i like those people) so if any of you are the type that are excited about getting scared and dont give us crap for it... thanks your cool keep coming...
