Since SF Great Adventure is getting a Top Thrill Dragster type roller coaster and we are going to be getting Hurricane Harbor, which would you perfer.
A new coaster or a water park.

Waterpark, definitely is what I would prefer now. A lot more to do. Now a few years down the line.... a rocket or a 4D.

I'd take the waterpark now, it will help alot more to invest in this waterpark, bringing in more money, for a better coaster. Plus, I'd rather wait for the coaster technology to improve.

Id also say Waterpark. It's going to bring attendence up for sure, not only that but our park is one of the few major parks that didn't have a waterpark. It's something SFGAm has been missing for awhile now, and are finally getting.

Definitely the waterpark.

Besides, you won't see anymore records broken in the height department at SFGAm. Gurnee wouldn't allow something that tall.

As Dave mentioned, the waterpark is something that SFGAm has been missing for years now. It's about damn time.

I would also vote that the water park is the much better option. It will provide more for families to do which will help the park financially and when it is warm it will help(hopefully, if priced intelligently)make the lines shorter for those who will be riding rides or going to the shows. Six Flags problems as a company isnt a lack of rides it is the guest experience once they are in the park, though luckily we seem to be the best run park of the chain and dont have all of the problems that effect other SF parks.

I doubt there's any room but in the future we could get a coaster like Kingda Ka, if Gurnee gives the park permission to exceed 298 feet. I'd remove Daredevil Dive but I don't think that'll be enough.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

We could fit anything in our park, we have more room than you think.

As a matter of a fact a was talking to someone yesterday and we concluded we could fit a clone of kingda Ka without taking anything out.

All I have to say is there is room, you can add a whole new theme area if you move SWF and The cars back.

While Gurnee and SFGAm have a great relationship and more times than not, the park gets what they want, I seriously doubt the village would entertain a coaster the size of Kingda Ka.

If SFGAm wants a rocket in the future, they will have to go with something the size of Stormrunner or X-ellerator.

I would have to go with Kingda Ka. I like water parks but I am more of rollercoaster guy. Plus after riding TTD it beats any water slide I have been on. I have been on many different types too. Only thing I would be mad about is the OTSR because I think it would ruin TTD.

I would want a blue rocket coaster that has a 500ft tower and then a bunch of inversions.
