Yea I did. They are kinda gettign annoying. Not the song, but constintley seeing new commercials trying to get the same point of em. I like the old guy but not that they have 3-4 different commercials saying the same thing.

It's like I hear that song once everytime I'm watching TV. That song is the perfect "get stuck in your head" song though. If it stays in peoples (kids/teenagers) heads, they will be more apt to go because they will think of Six Flags. What a great marketing scheme!

It's been playing for a couple weeks now, but this one if my favorite because it actually shows at least one of Great America's rides(Raging Bull). I think it's the same commercial.

If you go to the Lowes Theaters and you are there for the previews you will also see Six Flags Adverting there. The Commercial I saw was one with kids caddying for 2 Adult’s playing golf and then the bus comes and the old man does his thing. They drop the clubs and run to the bus. Also Lowes has ads all over about saving $7 to Six flags if you buy there Combo Meal.

Sorry to bring back a semi-old topic, but they seem to be adding new footage to each of the 'normal' commercials. I've now seen footage of Raging Bull, Viper, V2(well S:UE), and at the end it showed a POV of the coaster we all love, Shockwave. lol(blue arrow track)

Have you seen the one where there are the two kids playing golf with some guys and one of the guys hands a kid an empty coke can and says take care of this. All of a sudden "we like to party" starts playing and the kids start running towards the bus?

That's probably the only one that is believable and sells in my opinion.
You see I like the cubs and the white sox. If it came down to the world series I'd pick the cubs.

The funny part about that one is that it is an ad for coke and six flags.

How long to you guys think the Mr. Six ad campaign will last? Will it end this season, or will it be a well-known icon for years to come? I think most of the excitement of Mr. Six ended after he made the appearance at our park. It was such a disappointment that we only got to see him for those few seconds. What do you think?

I think it's pretty obvios that was mainly for media.

They'll use it as long as it works.

Glad you mentioned that! I think what could happen is that there will be a new six flags logo that will be what it is now only smaller and in the upper left corner with a cartoon Mr. Six in the rest of it with mabye a ferris wheel in the backround or something.

^ I doubt it. Ronald McDonald didn't become the logo of McDonalds. I think that we will see the same logo for many years.
