Comments Or Suggestions

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Ilovthevu' on July 26th, 2004, 2:07 pm
I was wondering if any of you give the park comments or suggestions about anything you would like done. Do they respond back to you, and have they changed anything that you asked them to?

I told them about the D Vu and Viper lines, along with the weird Am E que. Also, I said that it would good if they put a que in between BTR's tunnel before the station (seperate front from 2-8 line). They replied back to me that they will send the letter to the appropriate place, and will think about for 2005.

They do look at your suggestions if they are decent ones. Those things that you said could come true. They already are listening about the line situations that you mentioned.

I sent them a letter a while ago. I just gave some basic suggestions, I also told them about this site. They replied and said thankyou for telling us about this site, we like to hear about what people think of the park.

I complained the year that they fenced off the bridge between hometown and county fair. The next year it was gone!

The wall that you mentioned got a ton of complaints from what I remember.

Enough people voice an opinion on something and they just might act on it.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

^ I figured many people would.

I also complained when they took "The Hot Shoppe" (old root beer stand) away. Nothing happened about that.

That "wall" was bound to go because of DejaVu construction. There was nothing the park could do.

^ They put that wall up the year DV was constructed. It wasn't taken out because of construction.

I think they should put a ton more trees in the ssa area. You can read more about my ideas in this discussion: http://www.sfgamworld.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2320

I cant complain about the rest of the park though. Theres allmost nothing wronge with it. Its just that nasty open area that allows you to stare straight through to the parking lot. Ugly.

One thing that the janitors should clean up is the abc gum on the canvas roof under the chain lift for superman. If you know what I mean.
You see I like the cubs and the white sox. If it came down to the world series I'd pick the cubs.

That's what I meant to say. It left because construction from Dejavu was done...or what we thought. :)

I had another idea but it slipped my mind.

For this "wall" are we talking about the Bungy ride that was there and blocked the way.

No I meant to post here. I meant thats what they should do to that section.

And the wall is the rock climbing wall next to demon. They should take out some of the switchbacks in the AE tent and put the wall in there.

We're talking about the wall or fence, that blocked you from getting from Hometown square to County Fair. I think.

Yeah I remember when that was up. It was crazy. That wall made it so hard to get places. Having to walk all the way through SWT. If you think about it, when that wall was up the park was basically just one big circular path. That's nuts.

Yes, we are. There was a bungee ride on the Hometown side, and a green fence on the county fair side. I remember the last day of that season (Fright Fest); I went on DV for my last ride at closing. We all had to walk back through SWT and the big stuffed animals were hanging out by the games. Many kids were stealing them. There were smashed pumpkins everywhere.

Ok, I got it. We started talking about a wall and then the bungy ride came into the mix.
